What is the immersion system?
The Immersion System is unique to Premier Madden League. It has an RPG-style organizational structure where you take on the responsibilities and choices of personas within your team. Consider it "owner mode on steroids." You will have the opportunity to control the decision-making at all levels of your organization.
How does it work?
TLDR: Complete a form twice a day
Each persona will have different day-to-day tasks available to them. You will select a task to complete for a persona. There is a daily cap of just two tasks.
Some tasks are only limited to the number of weeks in a season. These tasks are indicated by a highlight and do not count toward the daily limit of two immersion tasks. These include the following: user score, scouting reports, film review, webmaster, underdog, and draft kings.
Webmaster is only limited to the number of notable performances in any given week.
Specialist tasks are "level 3" only tasks which grant you an opportunity to make a one time specific change regarding your roster.
What is the benefit?
TLDR: Content points, draft insight, and dev upgrades
Each task has its own levels and rewards. The rewards for each task are listed below. Some of these tasks are part of the player dynamics system. The player dynamics system is described in more detail below.
What are the levels?
TLDR: Reach level 3 by performing a task 60 times
The number of times you've completed a task determines your level for that task. Scouting reports, for example, are scaled at 3x per task due to the limited number of in-game weeks.
Levels are "dynamic" because the memory of completed tasks degrades over time. It is critical to continue performing the task from which you wish to continue benefiting from.
What are player dynamics?
TLDR: Focus, Trust, and Wellness are requirements for attribute requests
You have full control over determining your roster's dynamics. Each player has a focus, trust, and wellness measurement that will determine their ability to develop through attribute requests. Focus, Trust, and Wellness are gained by performing different tasks within the immersion system, which are detailed below.
Owner: GM Chemistry
TLDR: Content points for high OVR
The team owner uses the overall rating of the team to evaluate the success of a general manager. Starting with Level 1, with a top-5 OVR team rating, performing the Owner task "Meet with GM" may result in content points being rewarded after each task completion.
Owner: HC Chemistry
TLDR: Content points for winning streaks
Consistent success is often the major obligation that an owner will delegate to the head coach. When performing the Owner task "Meet with HC" while on a winning streak, content points could be earned each time.
Local Market Focus
TLDR: Content points for winning at home
A winning record at home is very important to the team owner. You will earn content points every time you complete the Owner task "Local Market Focus" while playing at least three home games this season and having a winning percentage of more than 500 at home.
TLDR: Content points for multiple Level 3 personas
The Owner task "Organization Meeting" is a modifier. You will receive content points each time the task is performed while having a Level 3 task for all of the following personas: GM, Head Coach, Coordinators, Media, and Fans.
GM: HC Chemistry
TLDR: Content points for high % scheme fit
When the General Manager is able to build a roster that fits the coach's scheme well, the GM and Head Coach will have good chemistry. When performing the GM task "Meet with HC" while having a top-5 scheme fit rank, content points are sometimes awarded after each task completion.
GM: College Scouting Chemistry
TLDR: See preseason DDT points for upcoming draft
Meet with the college scouting director to discuss draft prospects and gauge their rate of development. The GM task "Meet with Director of College Scouting" will return a table of prospects and their DDT points at the start of the college season.
GM: Pro Scouting Chemistry
TLDR: Possible Dev Upgrade for Scheme Fit FA
Your pro scouting director may occasionally recommend a perfect fit who they believe can immediately help the team. When you complete the GM task "Meet with Senior Pro Scout," you may receive a free agent signing recommendation as well as an immediate dev upgrade request.
TLDR: Content points for good cost-benefit ranking
Your team's cost-benefit score is the average of your team's power ranking, inverse roster overall ranking, and cap availability ranking. It's an indicator to see who is doing more with less. After reaching Level 1, performing the GM task "Financial Department Meeting" while having a top 8 cost benefit ranking will result in content points.
TLDR: Increase Amount of players for attribute requests submitted at once
Submitting attribute requests one at a time is inefficient, but having the ability to submit many at once improves the process significantly. Complete the Operations task "Health, Performance, and Innovation" on a regular basis to increase the number of attribute requests you can submit at once.
TLDR: Content points for consistently submitting sim scores
Submitting user scores is critical when attempting to establish a consistent level of gameplay across the league. Consistent sim score submission will result in content point bonuses.
TLDR: Trigger breakout story for consistent quick scouting reports
Madden provides a play call analysis of your opponent each in-game week. Providing your opponents' play call report ahead of each game can sometimes result in a breakout story for your team.
TLDR: Content Points for Consistent Film Reviews
Each week, providing in-depth film reviews of your opponent can add up to a lot of points. Doing film reviews on a regular basis will earn you more content points.
TLDR: Submit rule change
Instead of focusing on your team, use one of the two available tasks each day to help the league. Submit a rule proposal that will be voted on and discussed throughout the season in preparation for the next offseason rule voting period.
TLDR: Earn Team Tust for Attribute Requests
Earn the trust of your team by answering at least three questions during a Press Conference. Your team's trust rating will determine whether or not your attribute requests are granted.
HC: OC Chemistry
TLDR: Content Points for top 10 offensive total yards rank and offensive scheme fit
Having a great offense while having a roster that matches your head coach's and offensive coordinator's scheme is a sign of great chemistry between the two. Meeting with the offensive coordinator while having a top 10 offense in total yards and a top 10 offensive scheme fit rank may result in content points.
HC: DC Chemistry
TLDR: Content Points for top 10 defensive total yards rank and defensive scheme fit
Having a great defense while having a roster that matches your head coach's and defensive coordinator's scheme is an indication of great chemistry between coach and coordinator. Meeting with the defensive coordinator while having a top 10 defense in total yards and a top 10 defensive scheme fit rank may result in content points.
OC: Pass Focus
TLDR: Content points for top ranked pass offense
While having a top-ranked pass offense, performing the Coordinator task "OC Pass Heavy Practice" could result in content points each time the task is completed.
OC: Run Focus
TLDR: Content points for top ranked run offense
While having a top-ranked run offense, performing the Coordinator task "OC Run Heavy Practice" could result in content points each time the task is completed.
DC: Pass Focus
TLDR: Content points for top ranked pass defense
Performing the Coordinator task "DC Pass Defense Practice" while having a top ranked pass defense could result in content points each time the task is performed.
DC: Run Focus
TLDR: Content points for top ranked run defense
Performing the Coordinator task "DC Run Defense Practice" while having a top ranked run defense could result in content points each time the task is performed.
Position Group Meeting
TLDR: Increase focus for position groups
Meetings of specific position groups help them focus and progress. If a player has a low focus rating, their name will not appear on the attribute request form. Hold at least three position group meetings per month to give your players the opportunity to grow through attribute requests.
TLDR: See recommended draft range for prospects
Yes, if a player is completely scouted, the game will tell you the ideal draft range, but this is only based on their overall rating. You can determine the true ideal range for 1-3 prospects based on important positional characteristics and physicals by completing the "Draft Board Meeting" college scouting task.
TLDR: See true physical rankings for prospects
Why wait until the combine to find out where prospects rank physically? RAS is an abbreviation for Relative Athletic Scores. When the College Scouting task "Relative Athletic Score Rankings" is completed, the RAS rankings for 1 to 3 prospects are returned.
TLDR: See the top prospects at each position
Knowing who the top prospects are at each position will allow you to target specific needs in the draft. When you complete the College Scouting task "Top Prospects by Position," you'll get a list of the top prospects at each position.
TLDR: FA Signing with an instant attribute boost
Pro scouts may occasionally recommend a veteran who they believe will immediately benefit the team. When performing the Pro Scouting task "Veteran Addition," a veteran FA who is a scheme fit will sometimes be recommended. Signing the recommended FA will also grant you an instant attribute boost, which you can choose and send to the upgrades channel.
TLDR: Practice Squad elevation with an instant attribute boost.
This is similar to the Veteran FA enhancement. Performing the Pro Scouting task "Practice Squad Elevation" will occasionally recommend a practice squad elevation for a scheme fit player. Elevating a scheme fit practice squad player will also grant you an immediate attribute request boost, which you can choose and send to the upgrades channel.
TLDR: See recommended trade values
The most common type of realistic trade is a player for pick trade. When you complete the Pro Scouting task "Trade Evaluation," you will receive a simple trade value that the trade committee will use as a guideline to evaluate each trade.
TLDR: Clear Cap Penalty
Sometimes things spiral out of control or you inherit a team with a significant cap penalty. Perform this Specialist task 60 times to earn the opportunity to clear the cap penalty once.
TLDR: Change throwing motion for rookie
Bring in a specialist to improve a young quarterback's throwing motion. Perform this Specialist task 60 times to earn the chance to change the throwing motion for a rookie quarterback under 70 overall.
TLDR: Extend a player's contract by 1 year
Kick the can down the road by extending a player's contract by 5 million dollars and one year. (Only players who are not on rookie contracts are eligible.)
Vet Pay Cut
TLDR: Free up cap space by decreasing a vet's salary
Sometimes a veteran gets the feeling that this is the year, and they want to help the team by foregoing some of their salary in order to acquire a player who will help the team win the championship. Perform this Specialist task 60 times to be able to designate a veteran pay cut.
TLDR: any player to x-factor for 1 game
Wilt's 100-point performance. Jordan's flu game. Adrian Peterson's record-breaking performance. Every legend has a game that will go down in history as one of the greatest single-game performances of all time. Perform this Specialist task 60 times to allow one of your players to become a legend by making them an X-Factor for one game.
TLDR: Increase Player Wellness for specific player and position group
Choose a player for whom you want to improve their wellness by giving them a rest day or special training. The position group of the chosen player will also see a wellness improvement. If a player's wellness rating is low, they will be limited to one attribute request every 48 hours. For players you want to develop more quickly, a good rule of thumb is to give them and their backup at least three wellness days each season.
TLDR: Earn content points by compiling highlights
Each PML game typically features one or two standout performances. You can showcase these performances to the world and gain a decent amount of content points by completing the Media task "Webmaster."
TLDR: Bonus Content Points For Consistent Lineups
Submit your weekly fantasy lineups in the Draft Kings fashion. Five content points are awarded to the week's top lineup. You will receive instant bonus content points for each lineup you submit if you submit line ups on a regular basis.
TLDR: Bonus Content Points for Consistent Pick'ems
You can win up to 40 content points each week by submitting underdog style pick'ems. Pick'ems that are consistently submitted will receive instant bonus content points for each submission.
