Damien Harris was drafted by the Patriots in the third round with the 87th overall pick of the 2019 NFL Draft. In his first season with New England, he only played in 2 games rushing for 12 yards on four carries. Harris started the 2020 campaign on injured reserve with a broken finger. After being activated on October 5th, Harris rushed for 100 yards on 17 carries in a Week 4 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. After multiple strong performances, Harris found himself on injured reserve yet again on January 2nd, ending his season. p
Harris will look to take on the main workload on the ground for the Patriots this year, Coach Wumbo has expressed his trust in Harris. With Sony Michel gone, the offense opens up for a dynamic running back with a big future ahead of him.p
