Week 11 Fantasy Start Em & Sit Em

START EM

Start of the Week: $5 QB Josh Allen – BUF (vs. Jets)

Josh Allen threw over 450 yards and 4 TDs in Week 9 vs the Patriots who have the 3rd ranked defense in the league. The last time the Bills played the Jets in Week 7, Allen threw 5 TDs and scored the most fantasy points he has all season. Allen is a safe bet to do well in your fantasy lineup.

Start: $3 WR D.K. Metcalf – BUF (vs. Jets)

At $3 Metcalf is a bargain this week. If the Bills offense is a video game, then Metcalf is considered the game genie. Of his 36 receptions this season, 16 have went for touchdowns. With 44% of his catches going for touchdowns, start Metcalf with confidence… while you can. Though the Jets have an impressive young secondary, I’m not sure they will have an answer this week.

Start: $3 QB Tua Tagovailoa – SEA (vs. Buccaneers)

Tua has been prolific since landing in Seattle. The Seahawks are on a 4-game win streak rolling into Tampa who 24th in average pass yards given up – look for Tua to lean on his veteran receiving core to try to get to their 5th straight win.

Start: $4 HB Antonio Gibson – WAS (vs. Ravens)

Gibson may be a slight steal at $4 going up against the Baltimore Ravens this week. The Ravens are the worst run defense in the league. If the Football Team hasn’t completely thrown out their playbook from last season, look for Gibson to have a great day on the ground.

Sneaky Start: $1 HB Nick Chubb – CLE (vs. Falcons)

While he’s only eligible at the flex position, Chubb has a great matchup against the Falcons who are near the bottom of the league in run defense. Ignore the bizzarro world that is the QB room in Cleveland, and start Chubb this week in your flex.

SIT EM

Sit of the week: $2 QB Baker Mayfield – DET (vs. Packers)

The defending NFC champion Packers are having a rough season with their secret weapon still out for multiple weeks and coming off an upset loss vs Tampa. However, their pass defense is the best in the league. The Lions have been unable to beat the Packers in their last 3 games and I don’t know that Baker is going to deliver even though he’s worth only $2 this week.

Sit: $4 QB Kyler Murray – ARI (vs. Rams)

Kyler Murray has scored nearly 50 fantasy points the past two weeks. This week he faces the Rams for the first time this season – the last time Kyler played the Rams he only managed to score 9 fantasy points. Although, he’s on hot streak right now, it might be time to temper your expectations. Nevertheless, If Kyler continues his hot streak this week, he may be safe to start for the remainder of the season – this is definitely a “prove it” game.

Sit: $1 HB J.K. Dobbins – BAL (vs. Football Team)

He may look like a good value pick in your lineup, but let it be known that the Football Team has the best run defense in the league. Not only is the matchup bad, the Ravens carries are being split up between rookie Zach Charbonnet and “RB” Lamar Jackson.

Sit: $1 WR Ainias Smith – TEN (vs. Texans)

While he has scored double digit fantasy points in all but 3 games he has played this season, the Texans pass defense are the 3rd ranked team in passing yards given up. Also is worth noting that the last time Ainias touched the field, he had a costly fumble that sealed the win for the Eagles.

Sit: $3 TE T.J. Hockenson – DET (vs. Packers)

Remember when the Lions put Hockenson on the trade block one day after he was resigned? Then Hockenson went on to be the 3rd best fantasy TE in the league for the first 5 weeks. Since Week 6 he’s not even in the top 20. Hockenson is overpriced and he has a unfavorable matchup with Green Bay coming into town.
