Analysis: (1-8 TBandit), (9-16 Arod), (17-24 Wumbo), (25-32 Bacon)
1. Philadelphia Eagles (11-1) (Previous 1)
Sitting at 11-1 it’s well known that the Nfc runs through Philadelphia. Since their week 2 loss to the Colts, the Eagles have dominated competition winning every game by an average of 31 points per game. A big reason for that is their no fly zone led by Slay, Maddox and Booth Jr.
2. Denver Broncos (9-2) (Previous 2)
Kmac and the Broncos took over sole possession of the Afc West with a thrilling win over the previously tied Chiefs that came down to a 2-point conversion. With 6 games left to play against all teams over .500,the Broncos only lead the Chargers and Chiefs by a game so they’ll need to play their best football moving forward.
3. New England Patriots (9-2) (Previous 3)
Heading into their bye week, the Pats sit at 9-3 with one of the best defenses in the game. With the Dolphins and Bills on their heels look for them to lean on Damien Harris who carried them to a top 3 rushing attack.
4. Kansas City Chiefs (8-3) (Previous 4)
Coming off a heartbreaking loss that came down to the final play the controversial Chiefs are sitting 1 game out of first place with 6 games to go. With a somewhat light schedule, look for the Chiefs to rely on their talented skill group of Hill, Kelce, Sutton and Hardman that have the Chiefs sitting atop the offensive ranks.
5. Buffalo Bills (7-4) (Previous 5)
Bubba and the Bills are sitting at 7-4 coming off a tough loss that might hamper their wildcard hopes. The duo of Josh Allen and hawk 1 is one of Pml’s most lethal combinations but if they can’t step up on the defensive side of the ball, they’ll be sitting at home in 6 weeks.
6. Los Angeles Chargers (8-3) (Previous 6)
12 weeks through the season z and the Chargers are in the thick of the Afc playoff race at 8-3. With a tough 5 game stretch coming against 4 Afc playoff teams Z will need to put together his best month of football to avoid being left out of the tournament. Look for Z to lean on playmakers Jalen Guyton and Keenan Allen in those big games that’ll be coming against high-flying offenses.
7. Miami Dolphins (7-4) (Previous 8)
The Russell Wilson led Dolphins are tied for the final wild card spot with 6 weeks left. After starting 1-3 the fins have won 6 of their last 7 and with the remaining schedule, the Dolphins are in prime position to land that final wc spot.
8. Indianapolis Colts (8-4) ( Previous 7)
After starting his Pml tenure 2-0 Codes finally took his first loss to the Nfc powerhouse Dallas Cowboys. Heading into the bye week they’ll need to regroup because this 5 game stretch is as brutal as it gets coming against top 10 coaches at their best. If the Colts want to secure that playoff berth they’ll need to focus on finishing the close games which every game has been thus far.
9. Dallas Cowboys (9-2) (Previous 9)
Big bounce back victory week 12 over the Colts was just what the CEO needed to get back on track. The division is out of reach, but should enter the playoffs as the top wildcard team. Let’s hope they can avoid the Eagles as long as possible in the playoffs.
10. Seattle Seahawks (8-3) (Previous 10)
Dramaman takes over sole possession of first place in the NFC West. Still baffled how the Seahawks downgraded their roster and are now winning games. With their draft capital this off-season, they could be major players next year if they strike with their selections.
11. Los Angeles Rams (7-4) ( Previous 11)
Cam Akers is on pace to score over 20 touchdowns TD’s this season to compliment a top 10 defense. If the Rams could get Matthew Stafford and the passing game going, this could be a dangerous team. A big game vs the Packers this week should determine where the Rams stand in the NFC hierarchy.
12. Detroit Lions (6-5) (Previous 14)
The man nobody wanted to see get it going. A big win over Buffalo this past week has shot confidence into the veins of coach HypeMike as he currently sits tied at the top of the NFC North. HypeMike is one of very few users in the NFC who is capable of beating KMFO in a playoff game. Hopefully we are reserving a seat for the Lions in the playoffs.
13. Green Bay Packers (6-5) (Previous 13)
With the return of Aaron Rodgers looming, Coach Jefe, like HypeMike, is certainly one of the users we need to see in the playoffs to provide some sort of competition for the Eagles. It is not often we see a 16-1, NFC Champion suddenly turn into an underdog overnight. The final few games with Arod under center should tell us if the Packers are serious about another Super Bowl run.
14. Tennessee Titans (5-6) (Previous 15)
Titans needed a miracle run to contend for a final wildcard spot. Though it’ll take a miracle, Wimmy will fight until the last second ticks off on the season. This was one of the toughest schedules one could have.
15. Jacksonville Jaguars (5-5) Previous 16)
Very similar to the Titans, the Jaguars are in need of a lot of wins and a miracle for a shot at the playoffs. TBandit too will scrape and claw until the wheels fall off. The good news is, with Mole gone, the Jaguars and Titans automatically become divisional front-runners the rest of the cycle. Rightfully deserved after these past two seasons.
16. Washington Football Team (5-6) (Previous 12)
They were gaining momentum until they hit a wall called KMFO. Still sitting about a game back from the final wildcard spot, KingMike must take care of business the final stretch of the season. One thing I learned, never count this man out!
17. San Francisco 49ers (6-5) (Previous 18)
San Fran suffered a bad loss in Week 12 to a Drew Lock led Buccaneers. The 49ers moves over the past year have indicated a win now mode. With a much stronger division this year they are at risk of missing out on the playoffs. This week they face Denver at home, they are not favored but need this win badly.
18. Arizona Cardinals (5-5) (Previous 17)
Arizona has been a nice story this year after last year’s disaster. They face a tough task against a legit Chargers team. Many questions can be asked as to the validity of the schedule the Cardinals have played.
19. Atlanta Falcons (5-6) (Previous 22)
Atlanta showed signs early last week but ended up getting rolled . They have been a very odd team these past two years, at times looking like the best team in a bad division then turning around and falling off the face of the earth. Their week 13 matchup against Tampa Bay is a must win.
20. Cleveland Browns (5-7) (Previous 24)
Cleveland pulled out a close one last week to a division opponent. Seen as one of the better constructed teams, the Browns never cease to disappoint in the end. Maybe they can still win a poor AFC North coming out of their bye next week with a refresh.
21. Baltimore Ravens (5-6) (Previous 19)
Baltimore was really exciting last year and looked like they may run away with the division for years to come but unfortunately may have gotten too big of a head. With an embarrassing loss last week things won’t get easier in week 13 vs Buffalo.
22. Houston Texans (4-7) (Previous 20)
Houston had a great offense but the performance on the field has been less than ideal. It is possible the idea of the Texans being bad is leading to them still struggling. I would not be shocked if they drop their week 13 matchup to a bad Bears team.
23. Cincinnati Bengals (4-7) (Previous 21)
After a predictable loss in week 12, Cinci should have an easy week 13 win. In recent time they have mixed up their gameplay and have become less predictable but will this translate to more wins. The head coach is always talking the most when he gets a win but is nowhere to be found after a loss.
24. New York Giants (3-7) (Previous 23)
There’s not much to talk about here with New York. Last year was a lot of nothing and this year is exactly the same. You’d hope to see some sort of advancement of a younger core but that has yet to be seen.
25. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4-7) (Previous 26)
Despite their poor record, the Buccaneers have hung in there and competed in just about every game they’ve played. This tells me that the losing record is not something that will be sustained. Eventually, they will right the ship and get on the right side of .500. If they can find the right guy under center and cut down on the turnovers, things could look much brighter in Tampa, and quickly. Look for them to try and build some momentum going down the stretch.
26. Pittsburgh Steelers (4-6) (Previous 27)
Neph and the Steelers are quietly on a dominant two-week win streak and have a relatively easy schedule left, meaning that they could very quickly climb the back half of these power rankings. Once this team can get some stability from the quarterback position, morale in the locker room could start to rise and give way to some serious momentum in the AFC North. Love u neph. This team does well statistically, they just lack the consistency to string together their best nights. One week the offense could show out and the defense the next, but rarely do both perform at a high level in the same week.
27. Chicago Bears (3-8) (Previous 25)
Chicago has an elite offense, but their defense struggles in some major ways. They’ve found themselves on the wrong end of far too many shootouts. Defensive consistency is one of the hardest things to attain in PML, and the consequences have shown themselves in Chicago. Whether these struggles are due to personnel issues or due to schematic issues remains to be seen, but serious progress needs to be made on that side of the ball if the Bears want to right the shift and be as competitive as they want to be.
28. New Orleans Saints (3-8) (Previous 31)
It’s the Alvin Kamara Show in New Orleans, with the elite back amassing nearly 2000 yards from scrimmage on almost 300 touches up to this point in the season. The question for the time being is simple: will Kamara even survive the season? At this rate, I fear for his safety. Despite his incredible work, the Saints have struggled to have much success anywhere else on the team. The post-Brees years are not off to a great start.
29. Minnesota Vikings (2-9) (Previous 32)
Last week, the Vikings double their win count for the season with a blowout victory over the New York Jets. Irv Smith and Kellen Mond found some serious chemistry and they could become a great duo over the remainder of the season.
30. Las Vegas Raiders (2-10) (Previous 28)
In a rough season in Sin City, Darnell Moss has been the lone bright spot. Dude has been balling out and racking up serious numbers. With elite speed and a coaching staff fully bought into his development, Moss has elite potential. Though rookie passer Jayden Daniels hasn’t been outstanding, he has displayed some flashes of brilliance with incredible athleticism and a live arm. This is a young team that can bounce back with a strong offseason.
31. New York Jets (2-10) (Previous 29)
It has been a season to forget in New York. Ranking near the bottom in every statistical category, the fans haven’t been given much to look forward to. At this point, Jets fans are reading mock drafts far more than they are reading power rankings. Shoutout to anyone reading this far in the article. ARod you a real one for being PML’s number one bookie and the man to copy every single bet from. Thank you for your service. The Jets have some young talent, but the outlook is grim at this point.
32. Carolina Panthers (2-10) (Previous 30)
Panthers fans: who are you more excited for: Bryce Young or Bijan Robinson. Any season that features a loss to the Steelers is one to have a short memory of. Time to focus on the future. Which pieces are going to be mainstays of the roster for years to come? How can you invest in them now? This team is a few years ago, and long term development needs to be a priority. Luckily for them, their staff is keeping close tabs on the happenings in college football.
