One of the things that really stands out among the leading receivers is that having an elite receiving target that dominates the stat sheets doesn’t necessarily lead to wins. In fact, the teams with the 3 leading receivers (in terms of receiving yards) have a combined record of 12-20. Maybe there is something to be said for successfully spreading the ball around among your entire receiving core including your RBs and TEs when it comes to winning games in PML. The 4 teams in the PML with the highest win percentage, the Eagles, Patriots, Broncos, and Chiefs, all have at least 3 players with 500+ receiving yards and the Broncos and Eagles have 5 players each. Another thing those 2 teams have in common is that they’re tied for the most average points scored per game. But this isn’t about the winningest teams or how to build a high powered offense. This is about receivers that consistently takeover a game, and there are a handful that set themselves apart in that category.
