Is D’Andre Swift a Hidden Weapon?

The Detroit Lions traded for Ty Johnson last season and he has become the primary RB for this team. Ty is a top 5 rusher in league…..but did we forget the Lions have Swift on the bench? Swift is a young talented RB as well, but has not done much this year in the secondary role. Here are Swift’s stats this season:

56 Rushing Attempts

361 Rushing Yards

7 Broken Tackles

2 Rushing Touchdowns

4 Receptions

50 Receiving Yards

These stats are not good at all for a running back who played all season long. Or did he not? There have been rumors he will have a much bigger role in the playoffs. With the Lions having their first playoff game at home in over 15 years…will we see the return of Swift? It will be interesting to see how the Lions use their two talented running backs in the backfield. This offense has been all over the place throughout the season, it will be exciting to see if they can piece everything together for a playoff run.
