The regression randomization has once again baffled the league. The fact that the dominant Eagles who were the NFC champions lost the most amount of ability players is preposterous. On the other side of the coin you have the Panthers, who finished last in the league losing no ability players. It’s as if nothing really matters and this regression system is just picking players at random. In a league where abilities matter, some would say that this random regression needs to change and change quickly. With teams now knowing that their hard earned abilities can easily be undone at the end of the season, maybe we see a different approach to team building done this next season. Most likely the end result will just be the same, however, for those teams that had no regressions, they should thank their lucky stars and take advantage of this in the upcoming season.
