Draft Recap
This draft was unlike any other PML drafts, mainly because of the speed of the first round . We saw players flying off the board at a rapid pace. With only 5 seasons in PML this draft was important for all teams being that this will be the last class users will be able to fully develop young guys . The stakes are high ! Now let’s get into the winners and losers of PML 2023 Draft .
The Biggest winner Award -Ravens
Its pretty clear that The Ravens front office knows what their doing drafting , but what they pulled off this time was phenomenal . They were able to execute one of the best moves of the cycle . They traded away Marquis Brown to acquire a bigger, younger better route running Marquis brown and a first round pick next year . That is one of the great moves of the cycle . Then in the second round Ravens drafted MLB Anderson a player tied for the best overall in the whole draft . Sheesh
The Biggest loser award – saints
Dammit Cammy why did it have to be you ? You were primed to get your guy at 3 and you panicked. I don’t blame the Saints management that much because they are a victim of having to watch a questionable GM trade in front of them without knowing what the h*** they are doing but still Cammy lost his composure and paid dearly for it .
The What the h*** were you thinking? Award – Pats
Greeny got back in the league and didn’t waste no time f***** up . He had plenty of offers for pick 17 but decided to pass to draft a 63 overall LB . I mean that had to be the dumbest move in the first round . A top 10 QB falls to you and you take a d*** Sorry a** LB ? Good God patriots Front office. Mr. Kraft needs to keep his eye on this new regime.
The Greatest value Award – Giants
It’s no secret the giants needed a QB . So i was quite surprised when i saw Burn not try to make a move to get closer but what the h*** do i know because a top 10 QB fell in his lap at 23 . That was great value no doubt but I’m more impressed at how he didn’t get antsy and he just let stroud fall to him . H*** of a pick .
The you reach i teach award – 4niners
While i don’t believe that drafting Eli ricks at 2 was a reach, i sure believe that trading Fred Warner for the 2nd pick to draft Eli Ricks was an absolute reach . This draft was deep at corner and the Niners could’ve kept Fred Warner and got a good corner later but instead they gave up a hall of Famer . Now all the pressure is on Eli ricks to create a ricks island in San Fran . Good luck
the Surprisingly stupid award- Bengals
The surprise of the draft has to go to the Bengals . This idiot took DJ Ughhaudkudb with joe burrow still on the roster . How stupid is bengals Managment team ? So many great players and they took a QB. I thought i seen it all from Cincy’s coach but i guess i haven’t seen nothin yet . I wouldn’t be surprised if Wumbo takes over that team by week 8 . Absolutely The most suprisingly stupid decision of the draft way to go King ke you dumb b**** .
