We are in our 4th season of PML and things are starting to get interesting fellas. So here are my power rankings going into this season for the NFC. I will provide a breakdown for each half of the conference.
– Eagles
– WFT
– Rams
– Packers
– Cowboys
– Panthers
– Lions (Defending NFC Champions)
– Giants
Top 8 Breakdown: We all know who the most competitive user in PML is and without question he will be coming for every single person’s neck this season. I believe the Eagles will have another undefeated season and be the best team in PML for back to back seasons. The rest of the top 8 is similar to how the last couple of seasons in the NFC went, but there are two surprises. The Panthers and Giants being in my top 8 may shock people. I think Burn will finally make the push in a very tough NFC East. He has had QB problems all cycle, and if it is solved this season I think he will try to make that next step. The Panthers is another shocker to some people probably. Like I said in one of my recent articles, JT is one of the biggest figures in sports history. There is Michael Jordan. There is untucked jersey Kyrie. There is Game 6 Klay. And then there is Season 5 JT. I feel like this version of JT will arrive a season early and dominate the NFC South and some NFC teams. I expect a falloff from the defending NFC champion Detroit Lions. Their coach is known for partying every weekend and barely taking his team serious. He has been able to perform under these very terrible conditions for a few seasons now, but I think that comes to an end. There is no way I see a coach who I see all over Buffs Barstool at parties and clubs to win the conference again. This kid is a clown. I think he is just fine with holding on to that historic season 3 run as his little Super Bowl.
– Seahawks
– Saints
– Bears
– Niners
– Falcons
– Bucs
– Vikings
– Cardinals
Bottom 8 Breakdown: There is not much to breakdown here because there is a lot of room for these teams to grow. Any one of these teams can slip into the top 8 realistically when the season begins. The two teams I would mainly watch are the Niners and Seahawks. Both of these teams reside in the NFC West and want to win their division. Drama was out of tune last season for awhile, but after seeing the good ole Detroit Lions beat KMFO in the playoffs it gave him hope that anyone in this conference can. I believe with this newfound confidence he may try to make a run in the West. As long as he takes it like he dishes it to others, he can compete. The Niners can easily make some noise as well as long as he can make reads. We all know Ant loves to run the football and once you make him pass you feel like you’ve won the game. If he takes his time and makes reads, he can be an above .500 team and make the playoffs.
