pLadies and gentleman, sources are saying the Detroit Lions are putting up their best and only trade assets on the block. The foundation of their defense, Jeff Okudah and Patrick Surtain, may be on the move. The GM stated “Those two have done so much for our city. We feel like they should be on a championship contending team, not here at the moment. Those men deserve better, they made history here. Two division titles and a conference title was something we have never accomplished before. They turned us from rags to riches, however, we are back to rags. They should not be a part of this mess right now.” p

pAfter making an amazing run to the Super Bowl, the Lions look even worse. They have started the season out 0-3, and if they lose to the Chicago Bears that might be the nail in the coffin. This season 3 run is looking rather “fluky” as of now. The Lions have the most cap space in PML, along with a bottom 3 roster in the league. They went from an 82 overall team to a 79 overall team. It seems that this team is realizing they just cannot compete at this point. Is their front office just looking towards the future or is this head coach being exposed? Only time will tell.
