What up fellas, I am back with another BANGER. Today I am ranking the top 5 teams of all time from this cycle. Now this is a combination of the user and team that goes into ranking these teams. The pool of teams I will be choosing from is the last super bowl participants, meaning 8 teams. I took out the repeating team (Kmac) and just placed his best team which I believe is his Season 2 team. The pool is listed below:
Season 1 Mole (Colts)
Season 1 Jefe (Packers)
Season 2 Kmac (Broncos)
Season 2 KMFO (Eagles)
Season 3 Hypemike (Lions)
Season 4 Dot (Jets)
Season 4 KingMike (WFT)
Now this is such a unique and interesting topic. Many will have varying opinions but I’m here to spark discussion, and I think no one else knows how to get general chat going like I do. So let’s dive into this.
#5 Season 4 Dot (Jets)
One of the most controversial rings in PML history belongs to the Jets. A ring is a ring though right? A lot of people think he tanked, some think he didn’t. Some credit his insane roster, others think he is real news. All in all, he has a SB ring and he has to make this list. Let’s not forget who he beat on his run. The Bengals, Bills, Broncos and the WFT. This is an impressive run no matter how you put it. Now I will say after looking at a few clips…Madden was in dot’s favor in a couple of these games. But hey it’s a game right? Kmac came out the gate throwing inaccurates and one landed right to Stingley. In the Super Bowl there were many questionable animations in his favor BUT he won the Super Bowl. No mater how you put it, he has to make this list for completing the goal.
#4 Season 2 KMFO (Eagles)
I believe KMFO went undefeated this season and he absolutely dominated everyone in his path. Until he played Kmac in the Super Bowl. You cannot take the fact that KMFO had an incredible season with this roster. He just faced a better opponent. He lands at 4 on this list simply because he lost to the next 3 teams/users on this list at one point THIS cycle.
#3 Season 3 Hypemike (Lions)
Hypemike did not complete the goal and win the Super Bowl but may arguably be the best team so far to not win a ring this cycle….and it’s not even the team…Hypemike makes up for the lack of talent. He went through the GUANTLET in one of the best runs ever. He went through not one, but THREE NFC Champions. Eagles, Packers, and the WFT were all defeated in this magical playoff run…and all those rosters were better than the Detroit Lions. Let me repeat though… 3 NFC CHAMPIONS were beaten in that playoff run. With that being said the mission was not completed and he has nothing to show for it. Which is why this team lands at number 3 on PML historic teams.
#2 Season 1 Mole (Colts)
The man, the myth, the legend, Mole did what we all knew he would. He won the Super Bowl in a dogfight with Jefe. You cannot take this away from him and this was a remarkable season. Mole went undefeated and won the Super Bowl. The main reason he is 2 on this list is because of the competition. Jefe is an amazing user but has not done much since having Gunslinger in season 1. Jefe arguably had the best team at launch in the NFC along with the Rams and Bucs. There is a reason the Rams and Packers was the SEASON 1 NFC Championship game if you really think about it. Mole is definitely top 2 on this list nonetheless.
#1 Season 2 Kmac (Broncos)
He had Tom Brady and was dotting up everyone. Not much needs to be explained here. I think Kmac with Tom Brady was definitely the best team all cycle long and probably no one else here would have defeated him.
