Alright y’all I am back with maybe the final volume of Hot Takes for awhile…welcome to Hot Takes Volume 5 EXTREME. These are the REAL DEAL Hot Takes we have that are gonna shake PML the h*** up. We gonna end this series on a high note and what better way to end it than with my boy LQ Noble. I will start the series back up after the playoffs or in Madden 23. ENJOY!
Hypemike Hot Take #1: I’m the most skillful m*********** in PML not named Kmac.
ON FOENEM!!!! Hear me out, a lot of dudes in PML be taking my swag and no one being saying anything. Dudes be tryna spin like me, double juke like me, it’s like I’m the AI of PML with y’all taking my s***. Dudes be running my plays and s*** too but y’all barely even seen my playbook so far. Yes I only have one super bowl appearance but there are REASONABLE excuses for my previous playoff performances. CEO I used coach suggestions against. KMFO did some s***** a** kickoffs which eventually led to a fumble AND I had Ekeler on IR. The first season I actually got rolled up by Uncle Mike though. With all that being said, f*** y’all I’m that guy I just ain’t put enough content into Detroit like Cook did with Houston. FACTS! Lol
Noble Hot Take #1: PML fears me with a top team.
Last time GM Noble was presented with an actual roster M20 Falcons. the whole league was trying to get him in the slums being the Chicago Bears. Give him a team like the Ravens and he’s a super bowl contender every year.
Hypemike Hot Take #2: Wumbo better than some of the folks who s*** on his name.
Everybody just be dickriding the Wumbo hate train when he ain’t that bad. First of all he made the playoffs unlike some folks that speak on his name. Secondly, he has never had a top 5 pick so far this cycle if I recall. The Vikings actually sort of fit his skill level and I think with a top team Wumbo can do some damage. Get off his nuts! He ain’t as bad as y’all think bruh.
Noble Hot Take #2: Being that PML is a simulation league I think abilities should be turned off.
Everybody knows how much ability players impact a game but we are in simulation where ratings reign supreme don’t they.
Hypemike Hot Take #3: All them top players look good but have not entered the trenches.
Aiight let’s really talk about it. We have a lot of guys who are referred to as “Top 10” players. Well lets breakdown the rosters they playing with. First of all KMFO came into the Eagles who had 3 SS OL. Nothing more needs to be said on that. The team was too good for him. Let’s look at Uncle Mike. He arguably made the Super Bowl because of how OP his defensive line is. You cannot do S*** on the ground against that WFT front 7. The reason why I said he may not have made the SB is because he beat CEO with that D-Line and that falls directly into his lap of beating him. Not even just CEO but d*** near no one in the league can run on that defensive line. Mike would compete with any team in PML but that team gives him an even better chance at championships. Wimmy, another top 10 guy in PML has a team that fits perfectly with what he loves to do. Matter of fact, let’s do CEO and Wimmy at the same time. Both of these guys have teams that directly fit their playstyle of running the ball. WImmy has a broken 99 overall RB while CEO has a top 5 offensive line with a superstar running back. Yes, these guys are amazing users but they still have GREAT teams that fit their playstyles. Let’s challenge them and see what they do with worse rosters moving forward, they earned that type of respect now and should be given it. I feel like giving them such great teams is disrespecting how good they are as players in a sense. This goes for everyone in this Hot Take by the way. Do not take this as an insult, it is a compliment to how good you are and the fact that you need to be in a more CHALLENGING situation. Next up we got Que. So many guys have put Que in their hot takes already so I do not wanna speak on him too much. Like it or not, he had a great but old roster. Still two 99 overall players at launch. Jefe, he started off with probably the best team in Madden 22 at launch. Let’s see what he does with a different one. Inside Stuff is the most broken defensive ability and he has that along with superstar CB Jaire Alexander. We do not even need to get into his offensive weapons. Kmac had a good roster to an extent as well. That broncos WR core is nasty along with some pieces in the secondary. The Broncos were a top 10 defense IN REAL LIFE! Kmac is the best user we have ever had do not get me wrong but let’s not act like the Broncos was the worst team ever. Let’s see how these guys perform when they do not have as much talent around them. I think all of these guys will show up, I just want to see it for myself now.
Noble Hot Take #3: PML is starting to stand for the Premier Meta League.
PML has gotten very meta driven. While this is supposed to be a simulation league, you see the more “competitive” guys in this league tend to do the same stuff you see in MUT championships.
