Wassup Pml, it’s that time again as we get ready for a new madden and new cycle. I’d say this is the best time of the year with football season coming up and team selections, chat is buzzing with the anxiousness to see their new team and new division mates. Before I drop the list I have no idea who has what team, shoot I don’t know if I’ll get a team so no hard feelings if I leave you off the list or give you a team you don’t prefer.
AFC SOUTH:
- Jags – Jefe
- Colts – Wimmy
- Texans – Kmac
- Titans – Ceo
- The Afc South will once again be a top tier for the madden 23 cycle as the division is full of 4 coaches who I would all consider top 15 coaches. Kmac showed he could win with minimal development to that Broncos roster, but can he drag the Texans out the slums in a division filled with hungry coaches. Wimmy and jefe always compete and even though Ceo is finally in the ghetto he has king henry so who knows what he’ll do…
- Year 1 I have Wimmy coming out on top in a tight race.
NFC SOUTH:
- Panthers – JT
- Saints – Arod
- Falcons – Bacon
- Bucs – Goose
- The Nfc South is going to be an interesting division once again this cycle. Bacon back for a fresh cycle, Goose heading down south and Arod taking his Gm skills down to the A. I can honestly say at first glance I don’t know who’s going to run this division for the majority of the cycle.
- Year 1 I have Goose coming out on top but it’ll be very very close.
AFC WEST:
- Chiefs – Kammy
- Chargers – HD
- Raiders – Mali
- Broncos – Ant
- The Afc West is another toss up division that should go down to the wire every season. HD always has the most to say about Ant and Mali so here’s his shot. Mali gets his favorite team while Ant gets a loaded Broncos squad and Kammy has the high-powered Chiefs offense. An interesting division with users that have different playstyles will be fun to watch.
- I have HD winning the division over Ant via tiebreaker for year 1
NFC WEST:
- Seahawks – Fallen
- Cardinals – Burn
- Rams – Ke
- 49ers – Dlloyd
- I’m really interested to see how this division turns out, but I do know that the nfc west will be much improved. Burn is finally out the ghetto, Fallen is in the mud and Dlloyd and Ke get contending squads from the jump. All 4 coaches are capable of making noise in their respective divisions and conference if they play up to their potential. Can’t wait to see chat after Burn/Fallen play Ke as it’ll be must see tv.
- I have Dlloyd coming out on top year 1 kind of easily (2-3 game lead)
AFC NORTH:
- Browns – Tbruh
- Bengals – Hypemike
- Steelers – Mike
- Ravens – Z
- I might be biased but this is probably going to be the most interesting division in the league from gameplay, to close races and we all can get pretty toxic besides z. All 4 coaches can be top 10 at their best and they’re all starting out with pretty solid squads so this should be competitive all the way through.
- I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I have z coming out on top year 1.
NFC NORTH
- Bears – Sp
- Lions – Mole
- Packers – Codes
- Vikings – DK
- Once again, we have another division full of top tier coaches and it’s the only one with 2 Superbowl winning coaches so this should be fun. Some individuals are skeptical of sp’s, codes and dk’s success as they all inherited pretty good rosters so here is their chance to prove themselves right. They Join mole with the Lions who has the most rings in Pml history and is looking to add more. I think all 3 guys are pretty good, but I can’t wait to see who’s the odd man out and who showed last cycle was a fluke.
- I have Mole winning season 1 with Dk coming in a close second.
AFC EAST
- Patriots – Nef
- Dolphins – Noble
- Jets – Drama
- Bills – Vet
- The afc east will be the complete opposite of last cycle but will still make for a fun division with Drama and Nef fighting 24/7 while vet comes in to throw his few slugs over the course of the cycle. Drama is always speaking on the lower tier guys so here’s his chance to dominate them with a young hungry Jets squad. The Pats are pretty blah but let’s see if Nef can play his best ball with his squad. Noble hasn’t been back officially since madden 20 so lets see if he can get back to his old form with this speedy Dolphins squad that should give everybody h*** all cycle.
- I have Noble coming out on top over Drama in a close one for year 1.
NFC EAST
- Cowboys – Greeny
- Eagles – Que
- Giants – Cook
- Commanders – Bubba
- I can honestly say we have 4 divisions that’ll be must see tv for every divisional matchup that takes place over the course of the cycle. Cook gets his hometown team, Que is out of the timeshare, Greeny is back with a perfect team for his scheme and Bubba is FINALLY out the mud (QB wise only). This has all the makings to be a heavy weight fight all the way through.
