AFC Aftermath

The Premier Madden League has officially released the full list of coaches for the start of the first season. Before we get into the AFC coaches, a shout out is needed for all the coaches who will start on the coaching carousel. Some PML veterans got left on the sidelines in order to bring in some newcomers. For those coaches who didn’t make the cut, keep the content up and you may be the first one in if someone doesn’t want to play man or gets 27 votes to be kicked. Without further ado, this will be a few thoughts on each coach and their new team with their old team listed as well.

AFC East:

Bills: TBruh (Jaguars) – From one superstar quarterback in Trevor Lawrence to another in Josh Allen. This will be a hard team and user to stop. The Bills would give any user the chance to compete, but in TBruh’s hands, we could see the playoffs running through Buffalo.

Dolphins: Que (Rams) – The timeshare is over, however, the chance at playoff success remains the same. The Dolphins speed will be tough for the AFC and will give Que a unique advantage at fighting for the division crown that the rest of his division mates don’t have.

Jets: Fallen (Dolphins) – The Dolphins were young and fast, the Jets are just young. They will need alot of development, however, Fallen is a good team builder who will find a way at getting a superstar quarterback, maybe even Russell Wilson again.

Patriots: Nef (Steelers) – Two older rebuilding teams back to back is a tough draw, however, Nef will be committed to this team. He specifically requested this team and will rebuild them with content, however, will that be enough in this division, considering it wasn’t in his last one.

AFC West:

Chargers: HD (Browns) – Another top 5 team for HD, who could have guessed that. The Chargers are stacked, and if HD can’t win with this team then he should just take a rebuilding team next madden and play for season 5.

Chiefs: JAC (Ravens) – Another user who has gone from SSXF QB to SSXF QB. JAC won his division last madden, however, it wasn’t pretty. Good news for him is he will get his shot at blocking HD out of another divisional championsip this madden.

Broncos: Deebo (None) – He is a new user that has a decent team with some young pieces. As long as he doesnt trade Russell Wilson for a bag of peanuts he should be able to compete in this division.

Raiders: Matigy (None) – He is another new user, however, he has been seen claiming to always beat Bills user Tbruh. If this is the case then he will become the instant favorite for this division.

AFC South:

Texans: Problem (Patriots) – Problem is a great competitive player who had success as the Patriots. He will be easily competing for first place in the entire AFC, however, upgrades have been an issue in the past. The Patriots team was poorly taken care of and resulted in a severe mismanagement of the team, however, Problem seems to be invested for the long haul this madden so that shouldn’t be an issue going forward.

Titans: DatBoi (None) – One of the best competitive madden players has joined PML. This is great news for the league, however, bad news for the AFC. We will see if his competitive style can translate into the sim scene, however assuming it does, he will be competing for a top spot in this conference.

Jaguars: Hypemike (Lions) – From the dreary Lions to the last placed Jaguars isn’t much of an upgrade, however, at least this team comes with a SS quarterback. He is a top ranked user in PML, however, he is in arguably the hardest division in the league. He will have to use all of TLaw’s gifts in order to compete with the competitive guys in this division.

Colts: Bubba (Bills) – Bubba won his division as the Bills and dominated on the field and off the field with his team management. When you can finesse someone out of their top wide receiver, you automatically become a good general manager. He will have to work that same magic, as this Colts roster needs more superstars in order to compete.

AFC North:

Ravens: Kingke (Bengals) – He will easily be the favorite of this division. The Ravens come with a 96 speed QB who can do it all. The Bengals were a much different team, however, if Kingke can master the read option game, then the rest of the AFC may be in for a shock if they sleep on him.

Browns: Vet (Falcons) – If asked, would you give up your future firsts for a franchise quarterback? The answer is yes, and that’s exactly what Vet is looking at with the Browns. The Browns have a stacked roster that gives Vet a team that he can instantly compete with. With a new user taking over the Browns, maybe they will win the division for once.

Bengals: Cammy (Saints) – Cammy goes from an older but good team to a great team who is set for the future. They have one of the best quarterback, running back, and wide receiver trios in the league. These players will help Cammy fight in the AFC North as most likely the winner of the North is the only spot these teams will have in the playoffs.

Steelers: Arod (Jets/Chiefs) – Arod had two teams last madden and managed to throw a lot of interceptions with each. The Steelers have a great defense, however, their quarterback situation is pretty grim with noodle arm Pickett at the helm. I see the interceptions of the past coming back around unless a game plan is installed that involves 30 plus runs a game. If this happens, Arod will have a shot at winning the division, if not then the Steelers will follow the Jets way,  with alot of young top picks.

I will be back with the NFC thoughts and comments soon. In the meantime, carousel members, if you feel you should have got an AFC team over one of these users, please speak out in the chat.
