NFC Bold Predictions

The PML season is officially underway. We have a lot of returning coaches that were in PML last season and a few new faces with the fire to make a name for themselves. There are plenty of hot takes to go around, so we’re breaking them up by conference, and we are going to dive into some bold predictions for this upcoming season/cycle.

The Panthers will turn on the juice and contend for a division title early on.

JT notoriously builds his quarterbacks from the ground up, but it will be his running game that will help him win the division in season 2. The Panthers will lead the league in rushing yards and he will have three different halfbacks eclipse 1,000 yards a piece. CMC will lead the team in receiving yards and the Panthers will ride their ferocious pass rush to victory.

Kyle Pitts will be the first player suspended this cycle for the Atlanta Falcons.

Despite a possible suspension, Kyle Pitts will rake in over 150 catches and surpass the record (1,964) for single season receiving yards. Drake London will also be a centerpiece of the Falcons offense accounting for 18 touchdowns and contending for rookie of the year. Patterson will have one last season with the Falcons until he retires, his 2,500 scrimmage yards will net him a deal in a different jersey next season.

Codes will have a hot and cold type of cycle with the Buccaneers.

Tom Brady will help Codes take over the NFC in the first season. He will obtain a first round bye and reach the NFC championship, but then Codes will miss the playoffs in season 2 while he tries to find Brady’s replacement. Devin White will be the captain of this Buccaneer defense and win defensive player of the year totaling 10+ interceptions, 20+ tackles for loss, and 10+ sacks.

The New Orleans Saints will win their division… with a backup QB.

Burn has gone on record to give his disapproval of famous Jameis, so he will turn to his backup QB to get the job done. The New Orleans Saints have a small window to compete before regression hits them and Burn takes full advantage right out of the gate. Alvin Kamara and Chris Olave will battle one another in who will have the most catches by the end of the season.

Kmac won’t win a Superbowl this cycle.

We fully expect Kmac and his Detroit Lions to go 17-0 at some point this cycle, but the NFC is full of ruthless coaches that will content their teams up and edge him out in the playoffs. Despite not making the playoffs, Jeff Okudah will set a record and lead the league in interceptions.

KingMike will win a Superbowl this cycle.

Aaron Rodgers lost the best receiver in the game, but KingMike will look to A.J Dillion to to make up for that lost production. Aaron Jones will be used as a pass catching back whereas Dillion will fill in as the first halfback on the depth chart. Aaron Jones will flirt the line with overuse as the team’s primary receiver.

Davin Cook will break the single season rushing touchdown record and win the MVP.

Despite that record being broken, CEO will struggle to find his place in the NFC North. He will get lost at the bottom of the division until he is able to tailor the Vikings to his playstyle.

The Bears will dominate their division in season 1, going 5-1 within the division, but will fall to the 8 seed at 8-9 and miss the playoffs.

Despite missing the playoffs in season 1, Spdot is going to build up Justin Fields to be a top 10 quarterback in the league by the time the cycle ends.

Ezekiel Elliot will fall to the slums and a new HB1 will emerge in Dallas.

Misfortune may fall to Ezekiel Elliot, but Tony Pollard will use that misfortune to his benefit and become one of the greatest offensive weapons that Dallas has seen in years. Jefe, despite a loaded roster, will not find success with the Cowboys for seasons to come.

Wimmy will reenter the discussion as one of the most dominant coaches in PML, but it won’t happen until season 2.

Sam Howell seems to be the man in Washington and he is going to take a season to build up. Too many inaccurate throws will derail the Commanders in season 1 despite their ferocious defense leading the league in sacks. Antonio Gibson becomes the primary offensive weapon and develops to x factor after amassing an impressive 2,600 yards from scrimmage.

Wumbo stays chill and rides the hot hand of Jalen Hurts all cycle.

Jalen Hurts is a dynamic and athletic quarterback but his throw power is a real concern. Wumbo has the offensive weapons to make Hurts a legitimate threat and he tailors his offense to Hurts playstyle and progresses him to Superstar development in season 1. With the threat of a possible carousel demotion, Wumbo will spread the ball around, and have three 1,000 yard receivers.

Daniel Jones is the man in New York, but it’s the little Giants that emerge in the NFC East.

The New York Giants are a tough rebuild and Cookieboy has all the tools to build the team the way he wants, but he’s going to struggle all the while. Toney is the man season 1 in New York and will have over 2000 scrimmage yards. Season 3 is going to be the year when the little Giants grow into the New York “Football” Giants.

DK finds success out the gate but slips up as the Rams age out.

The Rams are going to dominate the NFC West for the first couple seasons. Jalen Ramsey and Aaron Donald will have career years during that reign, but the Rams will find themselves without their starting head coach later on in the cycle. The Rams will clean house and try to rebuild. During that process, Aaron Donald and Jalen Ramsey get traded to build the team of the future.

Kyler Murray and Marquise Brown are the tandem we didn’t know we needed.

The hookup between Murray and Brown will be like Batman and Robin, but Marquise Brown is going to rob the Cardinals of their playoff hopes as he flirts with the league usage limits. Kyler will lead the league in rushing attempts/touchdowns once the honeymoon is over. Marcus Mariota will be a Cardinal and Rondale Moore will be a Falcon once trades open up.

Geno Smith is the starter in Seattle, but not for long.

Geno Smith gets the notch over Drew Lock, but as the losses pile up, Z reshapes his starting quarterback and Lock leads the Seahawks to contendership. Lock will rely heavily on Kenneth Walker and Walker will be a top 5 halfback in the league this season.

Deebo Samuel is a wide receiver.

Ant and the 49ers refuse to see Deebo as a swiss army knife and strictly use him as a wide receiver so his sim score doesn’t take a dive. The Deebo package becomes nothing more than a ruse to fool opposing defenses. Trey Lance will be one of the best rushing quarterbacks in the league and Ant will trade George Kittle again this cycle.
