PML Top 10 through 10 weeks

We’re about a little more than halfway through the first season of this long Pml cycle and some teams have been surprises while some have greatly disappointed. We have a good bit of new members this year so, I had to let things play out for a little while before making rankings. Things can change as it’s a long season so don’t be upset if you get left out and just prove me wrong before we revisit these rankings right before the playoffs.

1. Lions ( 6-3 ) – Kmac is picking right back up where he left off from last year and is off to a dominating start with a young Lions roster. Some expected him to struggle quite a bit in the loaded nfc but so far, he’s been coasting with his only losses coming via sim or CPU. We don’t know if the Lions are still with us but if so, I can’t wait to see who steps us to the plate to dethrone the Lions.

2. Rams ( 9-0 ) – Coming into the cycle I was a tad bit skeptical about DK, thinking he was team over scheme but safe to say he’s proven me wrong. DK has pretty much had his way so far in season 1 dominating everybody in his path with a top 10 offense and defense. Safe to say the Rams have a win now roster and DK is looking for nothing less than a super bowl appearance.

3. Texans ( 7-2 ) – Problem is what we thought he was I don’t see much changing with some of his trade deadline additions. Some including myself thought Problem might struggle with the worst roster by far in maybe cfm history, but he’s proven us all wrong. The jury still out if he can win a year 1 SB with this team but so far there’s nobody that’s been able to slow him down (Except Hd cheesy a**). In a league with this much talent what Problem is doing should be talked about more but tbh as a league we can’t let this man win year 1 with the Texans.

4. Giants ( 7-2 ) – I think we can all agree this is one of the biggest surprises of season 1 as good as cook is. We all know cook loves his rebuilds so we don’t see him come around until the end of season 2 but this year that isn’t the case which probably has something to do with him having his favorite team. With his only 2 losses coming to top 6 coaches, the Giants look more than ready to take on the Nfc gauntlet come playoff time.

5. Bucs ( 8-2 ) – Codes and his timeshare come in at #5 with his hometown Buccaneers. So far so good as the Bucs started off 7-0 before dropping 2/3. The Bucs have leaned on playoff Lenny who has well over 1,000 scrimmage yards and will be the key to any success they have come playoff time. Expect codes to be on this list all cycle as he has 4-5 free wins every year.

6. Packers ( 7-3 ) – Old Mike and the Packers are picking right back where they left off last cycle. Mike with his 2 headed monster (1,300 yards) and the best qb in the game is going to give the Nfc fits all cycle along with his stingy defense. In all 3 losses Arod has 3 or more picks so turnovers will be as his only Achilles heel as it for pretty much everybody. The Nfc North is the best division in Pml but with that roster I see Mike having minimal problems.

7. Bengals ( 8-1 ) – I know I talked about cook but THIS is the biggest surprise of the season. Cammy has seemed to find his groove with this Bengals ground game and Joey B. I’m still skeptical but he has 3 quality wins to start the season so I can’t leave him out. Defense travels so if Cammy can stay consistent look for the Bengals to make a legitimate playoff run.

8. Vikings ( 6-3 ) – After starting the cycle 0-3 Ceo and the Vikings have caught steam pulling off 6 wins in a row. He looks to have found his groove again with that deadly pro-style offense he runs to perfection. If Ceo can limit the Cousins turnovers look for Minnesota to creep in the Nfc North title race.

9. Broncos ( 6-3 ) – Coming in at #9 is deebo a newcomer in Pml, I know some might not agree but so far, he’s done what’s necessary to win and be on this list. The schedule is light, but he has a few quality wins behind that top 10 rushing offense. If Deebo can turn up the passing attack look for the Broncos to come out on top in the Afc West and possibly make a playoff run.

10. Seahawks ( 6-4 ) – Z and the Seahawks have been quite the surprise to start off the Madden 23 cycle. We all know he’s a top 15 user, but we expected there to be some sort of a process before competing on a consistent basis. They still need some pieces, but z has his guys ready to play and it looks like the competing for the division and the playoffs will be in the very near future.
