pWe’ve made it about 75% through season 1 of the Premier madden league. With 5 weeks left, there’s still plenty of time for teams to make a push for a playoff berth. Checking through the stats, there’s one statistic that really stands out. 3 of the top 5 receivers in the league are TIGHT ENDS… WHAT? Kyle Pitts leads the league with 55 receptions for 1104 yards. In 3rd place, we have Travis Kelce with 43 receptions for 1042 yards… it’s too bad he’s out for the remainder of the regular season (RIP). Last but not least… from a team in sole possession of the 2nd overall pick in the 2023 draft, we have Hunter Henry with 66 receptions for 982 yards. ppWhile these TEs are obvious MVPs amongst their teammates, one has to wonder about the actual impact that comes from force-feeding your tight end. Of these 3 TEs, only one’s team is in contention for a playoff spot, and the other two teams have a combined record of 4-19… sheesh.
