49ers (MM Grade: B)
Draft Picks
QB Nate Caux
WR Andre Iosivas
TE Trey Knox
TE Brevyn-Spann Ford
TE Travis Vokolek
C Myles Hinton
LOLB Nick Herbig
ROLB Andre Carter
SS Cam Smith
The San Francisco 49ers look to build upon last season as they totaled up to 9 draft picks and utilized them to pick up some key pieces. They look to replace former WR, Deebo Samuel, with the speedster Andre Iosivas, who many think is the fastest of the 2023 rookie class. They also bring in three tight ends, two of which in Trey Knox and Travis Vokolek, who many teams sought after as they not only have good size and can help in the run game with their brute force, but they also showcased fast 40 times and were some of the fastest in the class at their position. They did a good job addressing the trenches with both speed and power, and also added the safety Cam Smith out of South Carolina who showcases great versatility and solid speed.
Cardinals (MM Grade: B)
Draft Picks
RB Chris Rodriguez Jr.
RB Lew Nichols III
TE Dalton Kincaid
LG Andrew Vorhees
LE Felix Anudike-Uzomah
RE Zach Harrison
The Arizona Cardinals addressed their backfield with two 22-year-old power backs, and they also look to bring in a solid TE out of Utah to learn the ropes from the veteran Zach Ertz, who many respect throughout the league. Although their acquistion in LG Andrew Vorhees is 24 years old already, he has showcased great leadership and strength not only mentally, but physically as well standing at 6’6 330lbs. However, where the Cardinals toot their own horn at on this draft is in the two star defensive ends they drafted. Felix Anudike-Uzomah and Zach Harrison are studs that shouldn’t be taken lightly, and they have a great mentor in the great JJ Watt, who has won many awards throughout his years, and is also a man of character. It’ll be exciting to see where these two go and accomplish for this team.
Rams (MM Grade: C+)
Draft Picks
WR Malik Knowles
CB Cameron Brown
CB Clark Phillips III
FS A.J. Finley
The Los Angeles Rams had more picks initially than they ended up using draft night, but they made the moves that they could in moving up to acquire key guys they wanted to bring in. WR Malik Knowles provides size and speed, as he’s an all in one kinda guy, but he’s a raw talent that has a lot of technique that he’ll have to develop. However, the Rams think they may have two late round starters in CB Cameron Brown and FS A.J. Finley. Both of them showcase great speed and size at 6’0 and 6’3 respectively, and also went to good universities in Ohio State and Ole Miss. Time will tell the impact they have for this aging Rams team.
Seahawks (MM Grade: B+)
Draft Picks
QB CJ Stroud
LG Nick Broeker
LOLB Shane Lee
MLB Jacob Magnum-Farrar
The Seattle Seahawks may have made the “big splash” this offseason, as many owners around the league refer to it. CJ Stroud seems to be the top QB, and coming off of a great college career at Ohio State, he looks to build on that at the next level. He’s well balanced, and although he may get off to a rocky start, it won’t be for long as his talent and cerebral sense of the game should carry him past that. They gave him a solid offensive linemen to help him in the trenches, and also addressed the front 7 on the other side of the ball as well. Time will tell how this all works out for Seattle.
