Titans Rookie Spotlight: Bijan Robinson

“With the 10th overall pick, in the 2023 PML draft, the Tennessee Titans select…”

Going into the offseason all the draft talk surrounded the top QBs, and the carousel of moves from team’s desperately trying to move up. But for the Titans, who already have the QB of the future on the roster, that was never on the radar. To be completely honest there was always only one guy who the Titans had their sights on.

“ Bijan Robinson, Runningback, Texas Longhorns”

When the Titans traded out of pick 9, the conversation had immediately started looking for ways to get back up to draft the superstar RB.

“ I feel like they really want me here, and I really want to be here”

When the Panthers were open to moving pick 10, the Titans jumped at the opportunity as they knew Bijan would not be on the board much longer.

After moving Derrick Henry midway through last season, the Titans had a glaring need at RB. While no rookie could come in and be Derrick Henry, Bijan is about as close as you can get.

When Bijan touched the field for the first time in a Titans uniform, he lived up to the hype. In his first preseason game Bijan totaled 127 yards and a TD on the group, and also showing off his versatility with another 27 and a TD catch.

But he didn’t stop there, Bijan’s regular season debut was short lived, playing only the first half, but in just two quarters of play Bijan had tallied 139 and a TD on only 14 carries. An astonishing 9.9 YPC.

“We are just getting started, this team has so much talent, I’m just excited to be apart of it”

I can tell you the Titans organization is just as excited to have you Bijan. The 10th overall pick is looking like a home run, and #5 is gonna be a problem on the Titans for a very long time…
