How does the loss this week prepare you for the next game?
This was a division game, so each loss to a divisional opponent amplifies the next division game. Our next game is against last season's division champions. Hopefully, this loss will help us refocus and try to correct our mistakes as we head into the game against Tampa.
Can you summarize what it was like playing against the Eagles last week?
They were able to protect the ball and get their ground game going. The run defense was a priority this week for us after getting run over. This week were able to hold what some would say is the best running back in the league to under 100 yards rushing.
How has Cam Newton’s experience in the league helped the team so far?
His presence is felt. He loves this team and he has been in the meetings with our young quarterbacks. He has been a role model for all of our younger players. He is a Panthers legend.
