I thought it would be fun to ask some coaches would You rather and give them 2 options to choose from . If you would like to participate in the next one let me know .
1. Would you rather have a Superstar player where you picked his ability and he is 85 overall never changing . Or a 95 overall normal that will never have abilities ?

Definitely the 85 Superstar! That ability will power me up to at least a 93 at times.

I’d rather have a 95 overall normal. The abilities do matter yes, but sometimes just having a guy that you can trust to make the play (this would typically mean his intangibles are also high) would matter more to me. In madden 20 I had multiple corners with 90+ zone and locked everything down.

85 overall where I picked his ability. An 85 can play like a 95 with certain good abilities.

I think I would rather have 95 overall player that doesn’t have abilities. In the right scheme the non ability 95 player could be more impactful than the ability player.
2. Would you rather have a league where you could switch abilities whenever or a league with no abilities ?

No abilities! Switching abilities would be too much cheese.

I’d rather have a league with no abilities because in the past because after a while, everyone would probably just have the same thing. Multiple players in Madden 21 would have the same set of meta abilities (Human Joystick, tank, etc.) instead of a unique, diverse mix.

A league with no abilities honestly, but if the other abilities are randomized I’d like to play with abilities. If they are not randomized, no abilities.

3. Would you rather have a computer system that automatically does AR when submitted or a computer system that automatically adds points when content or dev gen is submitted ?

I’d rather have a computer system that automatically does AR because I feel that is the single most time consuming portion of the commissioner team’s responsibilities (I speak from personal experience)

I would like to see AR automated. Just like in game you get random upgrades depending on archetype. That would be amazing if JT add that to our league Immersion System as well.
4. Would you rather Have HD’s trolling ability or nefs madden musical taste ?

I personally don’t know Nef’s music taste so I’ll say HD’s trolling ability. I mean the ability to continuously troll for years like this is at a Hall Of Fame level, he’s talented at what he does.

5. would you rather be feared in madden like Mole or Loved in madden like Wimmy ?

Feared in Madden like Mole for sure. What’s the point in playing if you’re not tryna be competitive. This isn’t a slight at Wimmy, but more pressure creates higher intensity moments which then leads to more challenges. I personally like to challenge myself, so I go with Mole.

6. Would you rather see someone you really love kicked or someone you hate win a Super Bowl ?

Definitely someone I hate to win a Super Bowl. I’d just discredit it in my mind. (But I don’t hate anyone)

Someone I hate win a Super Bowl for sure. I don’t have hatred for anyone in PML but I do not want to see someone I have love for kicked. That’s a rough one because they have a small chance of coming back unless they have a great resume.

I dont care who wins the Super Bowl to be honest. I’m all for competition and the spirit of PML as a whole. Anyone who is not about all aspects of the league win, lose, or draw, I think should be subject for removal.
7. would you rather have field vision like Curt or GM abilities like Drama ?

Drama didn’t make all bad moves , so I’ll take his GM skills.

Field vision like Curt, cause that means I have a chance to have a sustainable team for all 5 seasons

Field vision like Curt for sure. Drama traded his future to go 0-5. He did win the division once or twice with Seattle after trading DK I think, but that s*** ain’t work this year. Allegedly, Curt was a legend before he started tanking a couple Maddens ago so I’ll take his field vision.

Drama GM ability. Low key Drama makes decent to good moves to borderline great additions. He just don’t necessarily got the stick skill to showcase their talents.
8. Would you rather have 1 Super Bowl with the best team in a cycle or 2 championship games including 1 Super Bowl appearance and loss with the worst team ?

2 Championship games; It’ll get discredited either way, and I prefer to get it out the mud; if I’m consistently knocking at the door, I can kick that s*** down soon.

2 championship appearances and 1 loss with the worst team for sure. I mean this basically describes me on my Season 3 run. I made the Super Bowl with the lions. I beat an Old Mike Commanders team, KMFO ran Eagles team, and the d*** Green Bay Packers to make the Super Bowl. I was the worst roster in the NFC during that run with my best weapon being XF TJ Hockenson with slot apprentice lol. I personally feel like you will get more respect for runs like that with teams that bad. Codes did his thing with the Bucs, but people around the league won’t truly respect top guys until they make noise with bad rosters. That’s just the way it goes, and team overall matters more NOW than ever before. Both are great options, but I’d go with the tougher route in this case. Which is basically me last cycle with 2 championship appearances (I think).

I’m about the totality. Personally i would rather have a great overall cycle with no ship than 1 ship with the best team. I recognize though that you could get the label that says you can’t win the biggest game of them all though and that would suck. But give me Charles Barkley career over Robert Horry any day.
9. would you rather win knockout or win a witch hunt of somebody you despise?

Knockout. Witch hunts are fun to a point, but knockout means you really got a grip on the product each team is showcasing on the virtual field.
10. Would you rather learn JT is an artificial intelligence system like Jarvis from Iron Man or find out he is a CIA agent ?
