PML WEEK 11 POWER RANKINGS

Graphics: Wumbo

Analysis 1-16: Jcclutch

Analysis 17-32: Arod

1. Green Bay Packers (8-1-1) +2

A new number one in the power rankings, the Packers have continued to roll and since Aaron Rodgers has taken back over after his vacation he has only been sacked ONCE. That is just winning football and now they get a bye to get healthy.

2. New York Giants (7-2) +4

Nothing flashy from the G men but they get the job done week in and week out. Cook had a bye week and now gets a Cardinals team that’s been very up and down. This game will be a nice stepping stone before they take on the Packers.

3. Jacksonville Jaguars (8-1) -2

inally dethroned, HypeMike and the Jaguars lost a tough divisional matchup but they bounced right back with a blowout over Drama and the Texans. Honestly expect this team to finish 16-1 and chalk the loss up to a fluke that was played at 2 AM.

4. Buffalo Bills (8-2) +1

The Bills are the only team I think can truly compete for that 1 seed in the AFC and they’re coming off of a nice win against a talented Commanders team. TBruh (the T stands for tarantula) will now get a division game against a Patriots team that is coming off a win, can’t fall into the trap.

5. Minnesota Vikings (7-2) +1

The Vikings looked horrible in a game that was for the division and now they are on a path to a wildcard spot. Luckily for them, home field advantage isn’t important in Madden and they are still primed to contend in those playoffs. This week will be to get back on track against a good team in the SB defending Bucs.

6. Las Vegas Raiders (7-3) +6

The Raiders started hot, then fell off, and are now hot once again after Matigy blew out the Chargers with ease. The race for the AFC West is heating up and they’ll get a bye before they play the Jets and look to preserve their lead.

7. Los Angeles Rams (7-2) -5

DK and the Rams lost in a high scoring shootout with the 49ers to take them away from the 1 seed in the NFC but they still have a division lead and are coming off of a bye before they take on a Cowboys team that just got its coach back. Potential to be closer than expected.

8. Denver Broncos (6-3-1) +1

Deebo and the Broncos got a solid win against the Lions and stay right behind the Raiders for the division title. They’ve been an impressive team overall this season and now get a division test against Jac and the Chiefs to stay a playoff contender.

9. Cincinnati Bengals (7-3) +1

Cammy beat up on the Steelers at the bottom of his division and now gets to beat up on the Browns, also at the bottom of his division. The Bengals are primed for another playoff run.

10. Washington Commanders (6-3) -2

Wimmy took a tough loss against a very good Bills team, but those are the kinds of games you need to win when you’re looking to improve after making it to a conference championship. Potential bounceback against the 49ers but it could get scrappy.

11. Indianapolis Colts (5-4) +8

What’s a 5-4 team doing here? Well to be fair the Colts are on a 3 game winning streak that includes the Jaguars only loss and a blowout against a Titans team that’s looked very improved and impressive. They may have arrived, it may just be a streak. Game against the Falcons will be telling.

12. Tennessee Titans (6-4) -1

Bubba took a tough loss against the Colts but the Titans just didn’t produce turnovers and on the ground like they normally do. My bet is that was an unfortunate result and they’ll be back with a vengeance and the potentially fraudulent Dolphins now stand in their way.

13. Arizona Cardinals (6-4) +3

A very good showing from Dlloyd and the Cardinals but it was against a bottom feeding Browns team. I’ll be sold on them if they can pull off the upset over the Giants or at least keep it close.

14. Chicago Bears (5-4) -7

A once threat to the conference and division is back to being stuck in 3rd place and only has hopes as a wildcard. The Bears have unfortunately fallen off after dropping two important and winnable games to the Vikings and Saints. They better win against the Chargers or real questions will arise.

15. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (5-4) -2

The SB champs continue to suffer the hangover. Codes lost control of the division with a loss against the Falcons and then followed it up with the slimmest of wins against a Panthers team that is yet to win a game. It doesn’t get easier as now they face CEO and the Vikings.

16. Baltimore Ravens (5-5) +5

The Ravens also have fallen off from last year but they look to be on the upswing after beating a solid Chiefs team. They may have to analyze their gameplan if they want to contend this year but they get the Steelers this week to probably get a big win. As it stands though, one of the Colts, Titans, and Ravens is going to miss the playoffs though and the Ravens are the odd man out as of now.

17. Atlanta Falcons (5-4) +1

Headed into the bye week with a huge divisional win against the Buccaneers.  Week 11 draws up the Colts, who are also coming off a big win.  Should be a solid contest between two inspired coaches.

18. Miami Dolphins (5-4) -3

Ah back-to-back losses to CPU and Nef drop a promising Dolphins team towards the bottom half of the power rankings.  Thought they were for real this season- but they may have had us all fooled.

19. Seattle Seahawks (5-5) -2

Stroud has the Seahawks amongst the top 5 in offense, but the defense continues to be the liability. Seems more and more likely every week that we may have a rare playoff bracket without Zstar.

20. Kansas City Chiefs (4-5) -6

Back-to-back losses are putting a damper on the Chiefs playoff hopes.  On the bright side, they will end the season with a top 3 draft pick via the Pittsburgh Steelers.  Not such a bad consolation prize if you ask me.

21. New Orleans Saints (4-5) +2

1-3 record in the division is what makes the Saints the odd-team out of a very close race for the NFC South crown.  Not saying they’re out, but the chips are stacked against them with those divisional losses.

22. Dallas Cowboys (3-7) +4

Jefe is back and the Cowboys are ready to roll- or play spoiler at this point.  Spoil other teams playoff hopes, and spoil Jerry Jones draft day dreams of a top 5 pick.  Should be an interesting matchup in week 11 as he takes on DK and the Rams.

23. Philadelphia Eagles (5-4) -3

The Eagles played-strength-of-schedule is amongst the most generous in the league, but I am not sure if 5-4 is overachieving or underachieving for Wumbo and the Eagles.  He flirts with the idea of battling for a wildcard spot, but the consistency is not there yet.  He’s got 1-win versus a team over .500.  That is where I find the asterisk in the record.  Have to start beating those above .500 teams to contend for playoff positioning.

24. San Francisco 49ers (4-5) -2

Trey Lance is expected back next week, but it may be too late. Unless the 49ers could pull a string of victories over the final few weeks of the season, they may be looking ahead to season 5.  Props to Antdawgs on using Purdy to the best of his ability as he finished his run with a 108 passer rating and 10td/6int.

25. New England Patriots (3-6) -1

Nef is playing with some confidence.  The roster is coming together.  Could this be the making of a season 3 playoff run?

26. Detroit Lions (3-6) -1

Not really much going on here.  Gets the games in as the team sits idle waiting for any form of attribute points to build this roster.  Lions will not compete in this division without any further roster development.

27. Cleveland Browns (1-8) ~

CFM team killer Deshaun Watson has 11TD and 31INT.  CFM team golden child Anthony Schwartz has -6 receiving yards and 10 carries for 0 yards on the season.  I mean, if you’re not going to use the man, I am sure teams would line up and pay a left leg for the young speedster.

28. Houston Texans (1-8) ~

This clown has 1-win and is trying to get a 0-win team out of the league- a team he barely was able to beat only because Madden gifted him 2 fumbles for scores. Stay in your lane you doofus and maybe you should be more concerned with properly building a team instead of constantly destroying any team you get while spending the remaining 3 seasons trying to justify your idiotic transactions. You’re nothing more than a side-show-attraction here, f*** you talking about, you got me f***** up Drama.

29. New York Jets (2-8) ~

Not sure how my very own Pat Friermuth got a SS-dev game and is playing at an average level, but Claypool hasn’t received one yet based on the insane statline he is putting up.  Look for off-season suggestions to limit these types of WR to TE position changes in the off-season.

30. Los Angeles Chargers (1-8) ~

Back-to-back 40 point losses, but luckily my boy HD is having some fun this cycle.  With another top 3 pick on the horizon, look for this already stacked roster to come back even more stacked season 3.

 31. Carolina Panthers (0-9) ~

JT is now 0-26 on the cycle.  I will not, for one second, sit here and believe that season 4 and 5 he will just transform into this juggernaut like he just ate a can of spinach.  Prove me wrong.

32. Pittsburgh Steelers (0-10) ~

Absolutely nothing good to report out of Pittsburgh. Pickett continues to suck worse than Lawrence did, but it probably isn’t Pickett, it’s the user, but for the sake of remaining in character and not spoiling the PML role-play, we will blame Pickett.  Could we have two winless teams?  A little fun fact before we sign off, the bottom 6 teams in the PML standings are on a combined 39 game losing streak, anchored by yours truly- me.
