What makes Jonathan Taylor so good?
Everything. He'll outrun your whole team, then he'll break every tackle you throw at him, or avoid the tackle attempts all together. We love him here, we just had to trade him for the better of our overall team and the direction we're headed.
What were some of the contributing factors to the loss this week?
Lack of execution and low quality of conditioning. Our guys were too tired to do the simple things and finish plays. We knew what we wanted to do after watching Falcons film and it didn't work and then we got too far off our game plan. We definitely started the game too much in the air when our ground game had been rolling.
How much of a problem is Arnold Ebiketie on the defensive line?
We definitely overlooked him on the defensive line and he made us pay as a result. We focused on Grady Jarrett who also ended up being a problem for us but Ebiketie and the rest of the Falcons defense all played out of their minds.
Did you scout Tyrique Stevenson before the draft? If so, what stood out about him?
We didn't scout him because we already had 6 safeties on the roster prior to the draft but his physicals stood out anyway. Tall, fast, and excellent in coverage. He can make any play on the field and covers all of it.
Can you speak to the overall team health?
The short week really took a toll on our guys during the game. We tried to have a light week of practice, but it wasn't enough and the product on the field suffered as a result. Luckily, we'll take this mini bye we have now and rest up and we only have Jordan McFadden out beyond this week.
