Transcript: Dolphins Head Coach Press Conference

What were the keys to the team’s victory this week?

On defensively are focus was to simply stop the best rookie out in Bijan. If Malik Willis beat us , we can live with that. He honestly did his best as we gave up some deep balls to Watkins just falling asleep on the Titans offense. We will do our best not to fall asleep this week. On the other side of the ball, Waddle being injured really changes the way we moved the ball. We had to show some different looks, hoping to get everyone involved. Free Agent Corey Davis was a great pick up and Cedrick Wilson carried the load as well.

Some would say this team has the toughest remaining schedule ahead. How do you prepare for such a difficult remaining schedule?

We just take it a game at time. Season 1 didn’t end the way we expected. So, now we come in with a good mix of youth and veterans and hopefully they can lead us to the playoffs. It starts there, once you get to the dance anything can happen. We enjoy actually having a schedule that will have us battle tested come playoff time.

What are your thoughts about the Titans just in general as a team?

Look, the Titans are a great team even after moving on from Henry. They have a lot of young talent that just needs the proper development. I see them being a potential playoff team every season, but we don’t see them get over the hump this cycle.
