Transcript: Packers Head Coach Press Conference

The team is on quite a win streak currently, can you explain the preparation the team has gone through this season so far in order to achieve this amount of success?

Nothing special. One week at a time and respecting all opponents is the start though. After that is established we just walk into every game looking forward to whatever challenge that ends up presenting itself. Win lose or even draw, We just want to be competitive and put forth a good product on the virtual field. Lucky we’ve gotten some wins with that approach.

What were the keys to the team’s victory this week?

It’s always a tossup when you’re getting ready to play the Carolina Panthers. They are so unique with their defensive calls and offensive philosophy that you never quite know what kind of game you were going to get. So the key for this weeks game was to just make sure we were on point with fundamentals and made as few mistakes as possible knowing that we will see multiple looks from the Panthers.

Can you talk about the development of Jalen Graham so far?

Jaylin has been amazing. A lot of people said that we reached with our first round pick taking him knowing that he was a safety being converted into middle linebacker. But he has put in the work and the results are starting to show on the field. It’s great when you hit on a first round pick and it’s even better when you get someone who has quickly stepped up to become one of the anchors on our defense.

What is the status of Romeo Doubs and when is he set to return?

Romeo Dobbs is down again. This is the second injury of the season. He is a vital part of our receiver core, and it’s always difficult to play without him. Keelan Stokes will step in and play more on the outside and not just exclusively in the slot, while Dobbs is on the mend.
