Transcript: Saints Head Coach Press Conference

Can you talk about the development of Bryce Young so far?

Bryce Young ended the season in the top 10 for yards passing and touchdowns thrown. He also was in the top 10 for interceptions thrown. He threw 38 interceptions this season, which will disqualify him if he were to get a superstar x factor development trait this off season. He was the most sacked quarterback in the league and that no doubt affected his play. He had a above average year in all categories. He will look to continue the positive numbers, while lowering his interceptions thrown. This will come with experience, and I expect him to take off in his second season, with a better offensive line.

How has Cameron Jordan’s experience in the league helped the team so far?

As of the ending of our last game of the season, Cam Jordan was at the top of the race for defensive lineman of the year. Jordan is on the last year of his contract and he is looking for a one year, 20 million dollar deal. He hasn't been resigned as of yet, however, if all stays the same he will be resigned in the off season. He has been a huge deal in the development for both rookie defensive tackle Coburn and defensive end Davenport.

What are your thoughts about the Commanders just in general as a team?

The Commanders are an impressive team. They are one of the best rosters in the league, and their defensive unit is stacked at every level. They have what it takes to win the Superbowl. After playing them and see them in action, it will be tough for any team to go against them.
