Jaguars Coach SB Interview

Before the Super Bowl started, I wanted to tap in the with the Afc Champion Jacksonville Jaguars Coach Mike and get his thoughts on his season, run and how he’s feeling giving Jacksonville their first Super Bowl berth ever, enjoy!

First off how does it feel to make the Super Bowl after being 1 and done last year and to do it with a lower rated team in season 2?

It feels great to make it. Last season I feel like the Christian Kirk injury hurt me plus I let the Bengals throw the same thing all game. Just a bad adjustment by me. With me always having the inferior roster in the afc playoffs I can’t afford mistakes like those, and this year I didn’t make any in my run. Every time I make a big trade, I make the Super Bowl right after. I traded for PS2 last cycle and made it that year. This year I sent the house for DJ Moore and look what happened.

Can you talk about the adjustments you made from season 1 to season 2 that propelled you to making the big game?

The main adjustments that propelled me to a better run was simply just getting my team a little better. Surprisingly, I’m missing my 80 OVR TE and my developed pass rusher who became a superstar in Travon walker. Another adjustment I made this year was locking in. I clearly didn’t take the back end of my regular season serious because I wanted to make noise this season.

What do you have to say to all the coaches that question your gameplay and discredit your success?

Well to anyone discrediting me they can eat a d***. Tbh no one is taking credit away from me because I’m using the worst OL in PML and have injuries. I love all PML though and if anyone have a brain, this is probably the most credited run you’ll see so far this cycle.

What would it mean to get that first Sb Ring, and can you predict how many rings you’ll have at the end of the cycle?

It would mean a lot to me to finally win one because I’m really competitive. The regression system will predict if I win multiple rings or not this season. I’ve put a lot into this season and it’s hard to duplicate it Year after year. If my team stays good in key spots, maybe I’ll do it again next season, but if key guys regress best believes I’m taking a little break. A run like this causes a lot of madden stress.

Which coach would you rather face in the bowl and why?

I don’t care who I face. Both guys are good. It honestly sucks that both of them have amazing teams as well. No matter which way I go, I have to deal with a XF QB which is a nightmare. We should be prepared on both sides of the ball for whoever comes out the NFC. There’s no preference but we know both rosters are top tier. We’ve taken down a lot of star-studded rosters so far, and hope to continue doing it.
