Through 2 seasons this madden cycle we’ve played about 25+ different opponents which is more than 75% of the league so we have a good idea of what everybody is. Me and Mike are coming together to rank our bottom 5 users of the cycle we played against. Don’t take it personal if you end up on the bottom 5 list and just beat our a** next time.
- Vet: I hate to say this but when I played vet at no time during that game did, I feel any type of pressure on the sticks. This was the one game that I came into playing completely carefree and a game where I just felt I could try whatever and there be no repercussions. I respect Vet but I feel he was the worst player in the league and there wasn’t anything he did at any point in the game that stood out to me. Coming into a season 1 matchup vs the Browns you expect much more fight but that was not the case vs Vet. In pml you play a little tighter and I was a loose as ever playing Vet trying whatever i wanted at any time.
2. Wumbo: This list is harder than I thought because me and Wumbo had a solid lil shoutout at one point but everybody else I beat is better than him and gave me a tougher game score wise. Wumbo was able to put up points which i don’t allow often but his defense left a ton to be desired. At no point during the game did I feel his defense put any type of pressure on me, I could do whatever, whenever I wanted with that talented defensive roster he has. Wumbo isn’t awful but he’s one of the worst defensive users I’ve gone against in a while o he lands at 2 for me.
3. Nef: Nef is also a tough one, although I’m 4-0 vs Nef, outside of our 1st matchup he’s given me a good game every other time and is inching closer to getting his first win if I don’t step it up. Nef shoots himself in the foot by doing too much at times and trying to get too creative on defense which only works vs certain people. I think Nef is actually pretty good at reading coverages but his qb limits his success tremendously with untimely overthrows BUT I cannot stand his jet sweep/ rpo based offense as it is dry as the Patriots culture. He runs the offense to perfection at times, but I think it’s pretty stale which is why I don’t respect it as much. Nef always gives me a game but his 0-4 record and lack of creativity on offense has him landing at 3.
4. Fallen: Me and Fallen are sitting at a record of 2-2 h2h on the cycle but in my eyes, it should be 3-1 my way. Fallen is a solid user that can give anyone a tough game but it’s the way he plays that has him at 4 on the list. The first time you play Fallen he can catch you off guard but that 2nd/3rd time you’ll have a beat on him by the 3rd drive. Fallen is a very repetitive play caller that will run those same concepts every single game until you stop it. Whenever I play fallen, I don’t second guess myself because if you think it’s coming, it is, and those triangle reads have been the exact same for the last 3 cycles. I respect Fallen as a guy, but I feel like once you play him a few times you realize he’s not really a good player he has just mastered his reads for his set of plays he likes to run.
5. Bubba: Bubba is my guy; this has to do with when I played him more than what I think of him now. There are so many close games I’ve won against quality opponents and there aren’t many bad players so there were some tough decisions that had to be made for the list. Bubba was my first win of the cycle as we won by 3 scores as Buba was still getting accustomed to his new team and young qb that needs a ton of work. Bubba falls on this list because playing him without the Bills felt so much easier as he couldn’t try all the same things, he did with that talented Buffalo roster. I get his team is bottom 10 to start out but I expected to see more from a scheme and stick skill perspective which had me leaving the game with questions about how good he really is.

Here are my top 5 worst users in PML currently. The things that are factored into my list are: Roster, accomplishments, and play style. I am lowkey trolling a bit but a little serious as well. Honorable Mentions: Chargers – HD, Patriots – New, Jets – Fallen All of these guys finished with less than 5 wins I believe but did not make the top 5 worst list…you may ask why? Well here is why. When HD and Nef play a top user or someone of high profile they show up. They play up to their competition and down to it. The thing with them it is a matter of really locking in if they wanna beat you. Fallen surprisingly had a terrible year but he is up and down to me. He will disappear for a season and quietly do terrible then come back and have a 10 win season randomly. For those reasons these guys avoided my list.
1. Steelers – Arod Arod is really my guy for real. It lowkey hurts to have to do this but I’m a realist and he is unfortunately the worst user in the league currently. He travels, f**** hoes, drinks. He got a life outside of Madden and that might be why he isn’t too good on the sticks. He is like me, but the difference is I’m younger and sort of in the Madden phase of being quick on the sticks. I really hope he can turn s*** around at least one of these seasons though. He made some offseason moves but I mean going winless for a season you got to be number 1 on this joint.
2. Browns – Vet One of the veteran members in PML, but unfortunately a part of this list. He has not performed the best this cycle and his team is pretty well built. Losing with a roster like that it is hard to not place him on here. I have nothing but respect for Vet but for his play on the virtual field he has to go here.
3. Panthers – JT (When it is not Season 4 or 5) JT has a ton of s*** going on and has every right to not be good in the first couple seasons. This is why he is on this list, but I have to specify which season it is. When he has time to lock in and actually try, he is without a doubt a top 15 user in the league in my opinion. When he has to import drafts, set up a whole lot of stuff he tends to be in the bottom 5of the league in the early seasons. This is why he is here for now.
4. Texans – Drama I got love for Drama but if we are speaking on the field, I have no idea what the h*** he be doing. The way he performed with that roster is a travesty. He traded all his picks for weapons and hasn’t won more than 5 d*** games. I’m sorry my guy but you got to get on this list.
5. Broncos – Deebo Yes, Deebo did make the playoffs season one and made his mark. I am sorry Deebo I got nothing personal against you but when your offense is built off of chucking prayers into double coverage you get a spot into my top 5 worst list. It is a shame Madden lets people get away with not having to make reads this year. Deebo did beat me this year though with that aggressive catch scheme he got over there…but I still hate it lol.
