How has Matthew Stafford’s experience in the league helped the team so far?
We love what Matthew Stafford brings to this team. He’s gritty and he’s a winner, and that’s all you can ask from a quarterback. He’s a great leader, and someone that LA will always love as he was able to bring a chip years ago, and the chip he brought us last year. Not to mention his experience will help him to be a great mentor for DJ.
What is the status of Zion Logue and when is he set to return?
I just spoke to the team doctors, and they told me that Zion should be set to return in a couple weeks. We love what Zion brings to the table, his tape at Georgia was phenomenal, and he does a great job stuffing the run for us. He is missed, and we can’t wait to get him back soon. Not to mention, he’s a great teammate and has energized this team just with his presence on the sideline.
How much of a problem is Tyler Davis on the defensive line?
Tyler Davis is clearly someone you have to pay attention to. We had to gameplan for him and how to attack him, and even though it wasn’t easy, we were able to get the job done. I’ve got to give a lot of the credit to the offensive line coach and those big guys up front for doing such a good job this past week. We hope to keep that up throughout the season as we do have some younger guys playing for us, but we’re excited for them and how they develop.
