How do you see the competition level in the AFC West currently?
As expected competition is looking solid. We have a 3 way tie for first right now, and even though Matigy is down 0-2, he faced two very tough opponents out the gate. We expect him to get in a stride and every game in the division to be tough.
Some would say your roster is one of the better teams in the league. Would you agree with that? Do you see any weaknesses in your team as you self-scout?
This is probably one of the most well balanced teams in the league. We may not be the best overall, but we stand out at positions like quarterback and TE with two of the best out there right now, and the rest of the team is very balanced with few holes.
How do you rank the biggest changes to this team over the off-season by importance? What do you think were the team's best moves? Was there anything you wish you would have done that didn't get to do?
Not too many changes aside from a few rookies stepping up to the plate. James WIlliams has been one of those guys along with Dallas Turner and Matthew Bergeron. Those guys have stepped up big time. Bergeron earned himself a starting job in the offseason, James Williams is everywhere on the field and has 3 picks in his first two games, and Dallas Turner is coming off a solid performer with a sack. We expect these guys to continue to get mre comfortanle and produce.
