Analysis 1-16: Jcclutch
Analysis 17-32: Arod
Jaguars (2-0): The undisputed current king of the AFC, HypeMike has taken down two contenders in the first two weeks and each were by double digits as new quarterback Justin Fields continues to stay near perfect along with an incredibly strong defense. The Jaguars take on another top team in the Dolphins next though in an AFC championship rematch. No Chris Claybrooks this time.
Giants (2-0): Daniel Jones had his best game of his career as Cook took down the Cowboys in overtime. The Giants look strong in every aspect right now and it’ll have to continue that way without superstar LT David Bakhtiari as they take on the Seahawks who have opened the season really well.
Rams (2-0): The reigning Super Bowl champs continue to bench Patthew Pafford in favor of the rookie DJ and despite a 2-0 start, the offense hasn’t been what it was under last year’s MVP. DK’s defense is still playing elite, which keeps them near the top of the power rankings. The Rams play the Cardinals next who look to be a threat this year.
Seahawks (2-0): CJ Stroud has taken a great sophomore step as the Seahawks took down the Packers and look to truly contend for the division and the Super Bowl this year. Z is playing back to form and will have to keep it up against a strong Giants team. Game of the week right there with huge playoff implications in the long run.
Commanders (1-1): Wimmy took down the Falcons with ease as the defense and offense were in sync and dominating on the way to a 43-14 win where the 14 was pretty much in garbage time. This was a huge turnaround for the Commanders who lost in week 1 to a tough Jaguars team and got back to their gameplan of running the ball and Sam Howell just managing the game. They’ll have to stay locked in to fend off the Cowboys who are hungry after an overtime loss last week.
Packers (1-1): KingMike took a tough loss to the Seahawks with Hendon Hooker not living up to Rodgers’ glory. They’re still a great team that now gets to play the Titans who have given up 50 points a game.
Bengals (2-0): The Bengals are off to a hot start to the season with Joe Burrow and Quentin Skinner having an instant connection that has boosted them maybe past the Ravens in the division race. We’ll really get to see what this team is capable of against the Browns, who may go 0-17.
Cowboys (1-1): Jefe is still a man on admission but the Cowboys lost on Overtime to the Giants and sticking with Tyree Jackson may be coming back to bite them. In such a crowded division and conference, they’ll have to pull one out against the Commanders to not be playing catch up.
Ravens (1-1): Without Braelon Allen, this Ravens team barely lost and he could have been the difference. Still the most talented team with a top user, they head to Tampa Bay to look to win the mute bowl.
Cardinals (2-0): Dlloyd is looking legit although it has only been two weeks. The Cardinals made a statement beating the super speedy Dolphins but now have to play the reigning champ Rams to prove they truly belong.
Dolphins (1-1): After such a dominant week 1, maybe Que went in a little too cocky as all the things that worked against the Colts didn’t against Arizona. Hopefully the Dolphins went to work as they get the Jaguars in an AFC championship rematch that’ll sure to be important for the elusive 1 seed.
Jets (2-0): Are we seeing deja vu or is fallen gonna compete this season? He started 2-0 last year including a win over the Bills and he’s started this year the same way. The Broncos are a middle of the pack team so if they win or lose, it’ll be telling if Trevor Lawrence has been the savior and if they’re on the right track.
Colts (1-1): An inflated score keeps the Colts at 13. Quinn Ewers and Brock Bowers looked really good for the most part and the defense returned to form in the second half. Can they keep it up in their first division game against the Texans? A lot of talk from these teams, who comes out on top?
Bills (1-1): Tbruh continues to struggle more than people would think. He’s still one of the best users in the AFC and the team has the players to win. They get to play the Patriots next and hopefully carry that momentum onward.
Buccaneers (1-1): The cheeseman himself took the loss to JT who looks to be ahead of schedule in competing. Codes will continue to rely on Tua and DTR without Brady and now has to deal with the monstars of PML, the Ravens.
Bears (1-1): Made quick work of the rebuilt Lions in week 2 and Jordan Love is playing like an MVP candidate this season. The defense is young and hungry and with a little development throughout the season, this could become one scary unit.
Raiders (0-2): Schedule creators weren’t too kind to Matigy and the Raiders to start the season. We are giving them the benefit of the doubt based on their week 1-2 opponents being the Ravens and Jaguars respectively. Perhaps it shouldn’t be an excuse though if the Raiders consider themselves players in the AFC divisional race. Hot topic… nevertheless, they have an opportunity to get into the win column as the Steelers head to Vegas for a week 3 matchup.
Broncos (1-1): Deebo bounced back with a statement victory over the Titans week 2. They were pretty much in control the entire game behind a flawless game from Russell Wilson. With the Raiders starting the season with a little road bump, the Broncos must lock in if they want any shot at the divisional crown season 3.
49ers (1-1): If it weren’t for the week 1 meltdown, I could see the 49ers making a case for a much higher power ranking position to start the season. Antdawgs showed a great deal of resilience in a week 2 win over CEO and the Minnesota Vikings. There are rumblings that the NFC West may be the premier division this season in the PML. The play of the 49ers is one of the reasons why.
Vikings (0-2): The Vikings start the season in a 0-2 hole and there are many calling for a change in quarterback. I am not sure it is time to hit the panic button yet in Minnesota. They’ve invested too much in Zach Wilson to move on so quickly. They’ve lost the two games by a combined score of 8 points. Not what we expect from CEO, but I am sure he will put things together sooner than later.
Texans (2-0): The Texans are off to a hot start this season there is no doubt about it. I am looking forward to their week 3 matchup against Jclutch and the Colts. This is the measuring stick game we need to see if the Texans are the real deal this season.
Panthers (1-1): Not for nothing, the Panthers looked absolutely sharp in week 2 in Tampa Bay. They knock off Codes and the Bucs on the road 34-33 while showing a never-back-down attitude on the field. The Richardson-Harrison Jr. connection is becoming one of the most exciting duos to watch in PML. They have a strong possibility to go 3-1 to start the season with the Eagles and Chiefs on deck.
Falcons (1-1): Ridder was forced to pass the ball week 2 and it got ugly for the Falcons as turnovers through the air ultimately sealed their fate early. This could be an ongoing storyline this season when the Falcons are forced to move away from the ground attack.
Chargers (1-1): The Chargers are on the rise after a week 2 victory over the Saints. Herbert spread the ball to 9 different receivers and won the turnover battle to squeak out a 31-28 victory in New Orleans. The lack of ground production from Eckler and Harris is something to keep an eye on. The Chiefs are on deck week 3 as both teams look to move the other out the way for an early 1st place bid.
Titans (0-2): We said it was time to win in Tennessee and the grace period was up. They are not playing competitive football by any means through two games and Bubba is growing openly frustrated. It doesn’t look bright week 3 as the Packers travel to town in a game that could put Bubba and the Titans at an 0-3 record and an early crossroad in Tennessee.
Lions (0-2): Detroit paid a hefty price for Dak Prescott giving up a 1st and 2nd, and tying up 34 million in cap space for the quarterback. Through two games, he has 4 TD and 9 INT while the Lions sit at 0-2. This could turn out to be a disastrous move if the Lions don’t start getting into the win column.
Chiefs (1-1): Mali put up 60 points week 1 in a blow out victory against the newcomer Cleveland Browns. How does he follow that up? The Chiefs give up 64 points to the Indianapolis Colts. Talk about experiencing both sides of the spectrum. Lets see which version of Mali we get week 3 in a divisional matchup vs HD and the Chargers.
Patriots (0-2): The Patriots are actually one of the better bottom 5 teams in PML. Nef is in a difficult position of protecting a young rookie x-factor, while trying to learn a new offense and win games. He’s played two solid opponents fairly close, and by no means are they an easy victory. I look forward to seeing the development of several key players on both sides of the ball. Unfortunately, the wins may come far in between this season.
Steelers (1-1): Stop the presses! The Pittsburgh Steelers win! Walkoff safety by TJ Watt. You head right, a walk off safety for their first win in 23 tries. Lookout PML.
Saints (0-2): The expectations for the Saints called for a run at a divisional title. They’ve stumbled out the gate dropping their first two. Cam Jordan and Joey Bosa have combined for 6.5 sacks in two games and are definitely putting pressure on opposing quarterbacks. I am not writing them off yet- but they need to make their move now while the Buccaneers look vulnerable.
Eagles (0-2): The Eagles were embarrassed by Dramaman week 2 to the tune of 69-28. The game was closer than it seemed, but things got away and Drama didn’t take his foot off the gas. Things are not looking too great in Philly- lets see what happens in a week 3 matchup against JT and the Panthers.
Browns (0-2): The Browns came back and had every opportunity to get their first win vs the Steelers. A lot of criticism was placed on their clock management down the stretch of the game. PML is a learning curve and this was surely evident in their first real crunch time test.
