Transcript: Titans Head Coach Press Conference

What are your thoughts about the Cowboys going into this week?

The Cowboys are a very talented team, and very well coached. But they do have some strengths and weaknesses and we have to be ready to capitalize on any opportunities we get.

Can you summarize what it was like playing against the Browns last week?

The Browns forced us to really dig deep in our team and play a full 60 minutes. I'm really happy with how our guys played this week, and we gotta be ready to do that same thing again this week against the Cowboys.

Can you talk about the development of Kool-Ade McKinstry so far?

Kool-Ade just keeps impressing, another INT and FF this week, and he is more than living up to the hype. We notice what he is doing and we want to continue to give Kool-Ade opportunities to make plays, especially with how our defense is struggling.

Can you talk about what it’s like to prepare to go against a player like Micah Parsons?

Micah is a gamebreaker, his unique mix of size, speed and strength is a QB's worst nightmare. We will practicing our OL adjustments all week in practice in preparation for Parsons

How has Robert Woods’s experience in the league helped the team so far?

Bobby Trees continues to help coach up these young guys, specifically taking slot WR Jaxson Smith-Njigba

The team has been very fortunate in terms of injuries so far this season. You currently have no one injured. Can you point to any specific thing you've done to keep the roster generally healthy to this point?

We try to give our guys as much mental work as possible, while not stressing their bodies. The NFL is a grueling league, no need to add to that at practice.

Your opponent this week is one of the highest scoring teams in the league. Your defense ranks near the bottom in points given up. How are you planning to attack this game?

We need to step up defensively. Our run D has been alright, but that is only because of how atrocious our pass D has been. That will be the point of emphasis this week in practice.

What stands out about your opponent's offense?

The cowboys OL and run game has been a staple since Coach Jefe took over. We will need to be prepared to play against an elite runner of the football this week, and capitalize on any opportunities we get.

What stands out about your opponent's defense?

Parsons make that defense work, outside of him there are playmakers who can step up and make plays when the QB is pressured. We need to be ready to key in on Parsons, and take what the defense gives us and not turn the ball over.
