What are your thoughts about the Panthers going into this week?
They are a young and talented team. But still going thru growing pains. They are 31st in PPG so seems like putting together drives is something they are still figuring out. #1 pass D so far but 27th against the run. Jacobs is avg 9.4 ypc and needs to be fed. So matchup wise we feel this is a great matchup for us. Bc our defense is also based on making people drive down the entire field multiple times without throwing picks or fumbling.
Can you summarize what it was like playing against the Broncos last week?
Early on it was looking like a struggle game with us giving up a field goal and then Josh fumbled the ball twice in a row but the 1st one got overturned. But after holding them to another field to goal to make it 6-0 with 5 mins left in the 1st we went on a 45-13 run to end the game. And overall things felt easy on offense and the defense was containing well.
Can you talk about the development of Jayden Daniels so far?
Jayden daniels came into this org NFL ready and has done everything just as good or better than Derek carr. His legs haven’t been used as much as we wish. But he’s missed minimal throws besides a few that carr has made the same miss multiple times. His throw under pressure skill has really shown. Along with the concerns of his deep ball acc being fake news. He’s our franchise QB
