Can you talk about what it’s like to prepare to go against a player like Quenton Nelson?
Big q is one of the best guards in all of football if not the best, since he's came in the league he's made his presensce felt and has established himself as one of the best from day 1. He's the anchor to the colts offensive line and they go as he goes. He's hard to prepare for because he's a very smart player that's seen all the tricks and looks defensive coordinators will throw at you. He's one of one for sure and they will be running behind him a bunch throughout the course of the season.
I want to ask you about the receiver position in general. How have you seen that position evolve in importance over the years and how does having a player like WR Stefon Diggs sort of factor into that perspective?
The position hasn't developed like we wanted over the course of the cycle, but changes will be made soon. Diggs gives everybody somebody to look up to and model their game after and is that veteran presence you can talk to and lean on during rough days or weeks.
When the schedules were released this past offseason, analysts said you had one of the easier schedules they've seen. Do you see it that way as well?
I completely disagree with this, in season 3, everybody has their team where they want them, and everybody is at their best, so no games are easy. I play the Nfc West and the Afc South which are 2 very good divisions. I've started the season 2-4 so that lets you know how "easy" my schedule is.
