Transcript: Bills Head Coach Press Conference

Can you talk about the development of Tyler Batty so far?

Tyler Batty has been developing so far but he's a long way away from seeing the field and quite honestly, I think he just needs to take as many mental reps as possible and get ready for next year. With the loss of Von Miller, we needed some young guys to step up and immerge as soon as possible but that hasn't been the case thus far. He's shown some signs of improvement but still has a long way to go as in making an impact.

How has Mitch Morse’s experience in the league helped the team so far?

His leadership has been vital so far this year but hasn't shown up so far on the field. We have one of the youngest offensive lines in the league and so far, that unit has struggled mighty with all that youth up front but leaders like him are here for the struggles throughout the course of the season so it's interesting to see how he holds this group together over the next couple of weeks.

Can you speak to the overall team health?

Overall, my team health is fine and my trainers have done a fabulous job getting my guys ready to go every Sunday, so I thank them for that. For me i think this unit needs more reps together as we have some new faces in key spots. We have one injury, and it might be the most impactful one, Ed Oliver has only played 3 quarters all season and with the loss of Von Miller this was the year he was supposed to breakout and lead this defense but that just hasn't been in the cards so far this year.
