Transcript: Saints Head Coach Press Conference

What are your thoughts about the Raiders going into this week?

This is a big week for us versus a tough opponent. We haven't put together a complete game all season and now is the time if we want any shot at turning our season around. The Raiders like to run the ball and that will be key to this game. If we can force the rookie to throw the ball we feel that we will have a good chance to win the game. The last time we played the Raiders we lost in a close game at the end. We will be looking for a different result this time.

Can you summarize what it was like playing against the Cowboys last week?

Miserable to say the least. Parsons is going to win MVP this season and it wont be close. He singlehandedly took over the game. When one defensive player is immediately in the backfield no matter who he is going against it is a problem. We couldn't run or pass, even short passing wasn't there as the Cowboys went towards a man defensive approach and locked it down.

What is the status of Marcus Davenport and when is he set to return?

Davenport is out for three more weeks. He will surely be missed as he was doing well in last weeks game before he got hurt. With him on the defensive line it makes it so we have one of the best defensive lines in the league. Playing against a team that likes to run the ball, a player like Davenport would have been very valuable. With him out we will have to switch some things up in order to try to contain Jacobs this week.
