Analysis 1-16: Jcclutch
Analysis 17-32: Arod
Bengals (8-0): Cammy has the Bengals undefeated midway through the season and Joe Burrow is playing MVP football. If you didn’t believe yet, you have to now, Cammy is a true threat to win it a this season.
Cowboys (7-1): Cowboys get rookie RB Henderson back from suspension just in time for their week 10 showdown against the Cowboys. Looking forward to this one.
Giants (8-1): Giants took down Jefe earlier in the season in overtime in a very entertaining game. We expect more of the same this week as the two will battle and one will be left standing a top the division.
Jaguars (7-1): The defense is playing lights out and Justin Fields is protecting the ball. Typical HypeMike stuff.
Ravens (7-2): Not often are you 7-2 and in 2nd place in your division. Welcome to the top of the AFC North. It has been the same story all cycle as the Ravens and Bengals wait for the other to slip.
Rams (7-2): With a point differential of +117, the Rams are rolling with a top 5 attack on defense and offense. They’ve now won 2 straight and have their sights on reclaiming the top of the NFC West.
Texans (7-2): Drama is confident and the Texans are rolling. Could he realistically make a run at HypeMike? Big statement win over Spdot and the Bears week 9
Seahawks (6-2): As of this writing the Seahawks Rams week 9 game has been unplayed. If the Seahawks want this division, it is a must-win game for Zstar and the Seahawks.
Raiders (6-3): Matigy is starting to create separation in the division after an early season scare by winning their last 5 games. They could possibly jump into top 5 with a win vs Cammy and the Bengals week 10.
Packers (5-3): The honeymoon period with Hendon Hoocker could soon be coming to an end as the QB has 11TD and 25INT on the season. A change will not be made, but second guessing the decision to ride with him this season may soon come up.
Bears (6-3): An ‘upset’ loss to Drama and the Texans set the Bears back a bit. These are the games they win if we’re supposed to believe they’re Super Bowl contenders.
Bucs (6-3): They may clinch the division soon and that is really boring as a fan of NFC South football. Was hoping to see someone step up and give the Bucs a run. Maybe next season.
Broncos (5-4): The Broncos picked up two straight thanks to a pair of 2 NFC South games. With 3 winnable games ahead, they may be the ones to challenge the Raiders for the division this season.
Dolphins (5-3): A lot has changed since we had the Dolphins as a top team on the Power Rankings. They’re barely holding a lead on the Jets. They better not get too comfortable.
Colts (5-4): Jc enters the bye week at 5-4. It is not where they want to be, but the Colts are still in the race to make the playoffs. Definitely not a team you want to see wildcard weekend.
Commanders (4-4): Wimmy enters week 10 with a chance to climb above .500 after their game with the Eagles. Could be the jumpstart they need to gain playoff momentum. Line the Colts, the Commanders are definitely not a team you want to see wildcard weekend.
Jets (5-4): The Dolphins are giving them every opportunity to contend for the division. Perhaps they could ride some momentum after a victory against the Colts into a big matchup to Zstar and the Seahawks. Trevor Lawrence isn’t necessarily getting it done through the air, but the rookie RB Keaton Mitchell has the offense on his back.
Chargers (4-4): Missed a big chance to stay atop the division in week 9 as the Chargers fell by 3 points to the Raiders in a very important divisional matchup that may come back to haunt them later in the season when we sort through tiebreakers. The offense ranks 1st in passing, but the issue continues to be the defense who are ranked dead last in total yards (471 per game) & rushing yards (229 per game). HD could clean up the next four weeks against CLE, NE, CAR, & PIT.
Titans (3-6): Bubba and the Titans have now taken 2 in a row against two solid users. Is it too late for a mid-season playoff push? With two divisional games on deck against HOU & IND, we could potentially see them moving up in the division by week 12.
49ers (3-5): The defense is in shambles in San Francisco which is holding them from really competing for a wildcard spot. They rank in the bottom 5 in all 4 defensive categories. It is just too much to ask an offense to put up over 40ppg weekly to keep pace with the lack of defense.
Cardinals (3-5): Another team that is down, but not necessarily out. Has the ability to pull out a string of victories in a flash. Kyler Murray put up 500 yards in the air to go with 4 touchdowns in a high scoring affair with the 49ers. They look to ride the momentum into week 10 as they head to Denver.
Vikings (2-7): The thing people don’t see is yes he sits at 2-7, but the average loss was by 4.4pts. All 7 losses were one score games. The defense is starting to hold its own as they have given up a combined total of 23 points over the past two games against two notoriously high-scoring users (IND 14 & BUF 9). Big test coming up as the Jaguars come to town week 10.
Patriots (2-6): Nef is hanging in there and it seems the team is starting to come together. He has had some growing pains this season but that was expected with the rookie quarterback under center. He is doing a great job of protecting the development of Caleb Williams, and that is all you can ask for in a rookie QB’s 1st season.
Bills (2-7): The Bills have now dropped 5 in a row and at this point it may be a mental thing for TBandit. They head into a week 10 bye week to try and figure things out and take a step back. The division is still in reach at this point so use this BYE week wisley.
Chiefs (3-5): Heading out of the bye week they head to Tampa Bay to take on Codes and the Bucs. Not saying to hit the panic button yet, but the Chiefs need to start putting wins together if they want to stay afloat in an open AFC West.
Eagles (3-5): Don’t look now but the Eagles have 3 wins (over teams with 2 combined wins). Could actually move into a 3rd place tie and a couple games out of a wildcard spot with a big week 10 win over the Commanders. Drake May has surely settled down after a disastrous start to the season. The PML learning curve personified.
Falcons (2-6): Sadly the division may be out of reach for the Falcons a little over the halfway point of the season. Barring a miracle and a complete Buccaneers meltdown, the Falcons are playing for pride at this point. They have 3 divisional games on deck. They must clean up these games for any chance at a divisional run.
Lions (2-6): The off-season moves have surely backfired and the Lions find themselves at a crossroads mid-cycle. We all hoped, and maybe some expected a competitive Lions team this year, but it just hasn’t been the case.
Steelers (1-7): The Steelers are rumored to be moving on from 47 year old Tom Brady as any chance of meaningful games this season is totally out the window. The team made some seller moves sending Heyward and Pickens out for some draft capital at the deadline. They just haven’t been able to put it together this cycle as they still have 1 win in their last 25 games. They look ahead to the BAL, CIN, & BAL the next 3 games. With a rest of the season strength of schedule sitting at .824 the schedule gods don’t make life easier in Pittsburgh.
Saints (1-8): I mean if you’re playing in the NFC South, at some point you guys have to beat up on each other, no? How do the bottom 3 teams have a combined 4 wins? I wouldn’t even blame the defense in New Orleans as the offense has been the glaring problem. He must work some off season magic and acquire some offense game changers.
Panthers (1-8): Marvin Harrison Jr. is not having the season we all expected early on. He is yet to go above 100 yards in any game and has 2 touchdowns on the season as Arik Gilbert seems to be Richardsons go-to guy.
Browns (0-9): 0-9. Doesn’t chat, doesn’t provide content, has 0 wins. The writing is on the wall in Cleveland and the plug may be pulled sooner than later on new coach Miles. Sad because he brought so much energy prior to the season starting. Win or lose, that’s what PML wants.
