We’re a couple weeks past the midway point of season 3 which is usually the most competitive season almost every cycle. The playoff race is tighter than ever as coaches have their rosters more than ready to go. Me and mike collabed to give out thoughts on who the final 7 teams will be in each conference starting with the AFC.
TBRUH
AFC North: Bengals – Cammy is still sitting as the lone undefeated team in Pml and with the way he looked when we played a few weeks ago I don’t see much changing. He’s added some key pieces to his roster in a wr 3 that could be a #1 in some offenses and he’s looking better than ever along with the fact that Joey B just got some new abilities… watch out. The Ravens could make a push for the #1 seed and the division but being 2 games back with only one h2h matchup left is a tough task with the way Cammy is rolling.
AFC South: Jaguars – Mike doesn’t want to admit this but he runs the division, and everybody is playing for 2nd place despite how good Drama and the Colts play at times. Mike has 2 matchups left against his true competition in the division and all I see that doing is widening the gap. The Jags are sitting pretty at the 2 seed, and it will stay that way unless he decides to let the kids have a turn at the big boy table.
AFC West: Raiders – I hate to say it but the Raiders pretty much run this division, Hd had his nice little start along with an easy 2nd half schedule coming up but still won’t be enough. The Raiders should be locked at the 4 seed but with their next 3 games being against some top dogs (Bengals, Bucs, Rams) you never know.
AFC East: Dolphins – There’s no reason que shouldn’t win this division; the Bills won’t be back until next season and the rest of the division can’t keep up at the moment. I would love to give Fallen a shot, but I can’t put any of my faith in a snitch and what he’s shown Vs que in their matchups gives me little hope.
WC 1: Ravens – The Ravens are a lock to the playoffs and if we scrapped the divisions and went by overall records the Ravens would be the 2 seed easily. They have been playing lights out all year give me no reason to think they won’t make another playoff run while potentially taking the 1 seed if a game is dropped here or there by the Bengals leading up to their big matchup down the line.
WC 2: Texans – Drama and the Texans have made tremendous strides in his second season and as much as i hate to say it he’s a lock for the dance. There’s a slim chance at the division crown but if you know Drama, he’s good for a December let down so we’ll see. S/O to Drama for backing up his talk for the first time in Pml ever.
WC 3 Chargers – This might be a surprise to some, but Hd and the Chargers will be the 7th and final team. He’s played some good games this year, while not being consistent, I still think he’s done enough and will do enough to take care of his final stretch of key games. A bunch of people would put Jac or maybe even Fallen above Hd but the way JC has carried himself in the chat scares me as I refuse to put faith in anybody that doesn’t believe in themselves so yeaaaa and Fallen… he’s in the mix but in those closing games with a playoff spot on the line where coaches watch film… he’s going to get eaten alive. Hd also has games against Pats, Panthers and Steelers while also just getting a free win against Miles. Everything is in front of Hd so it’s up to him to go s***** that mf spot.. what you gone do lil tee?

Hypemike
AFC North Winner: Bengals Cammy is undefeated once again and has a reign over the division. It will be competitive between him and the Ravens but he is off to a hot start right now.
AFC South Winner: Texans The most controversial team in the AFC so far is confident and winning. His dual RB system and stifling defense can push him to locking down the division.
AFC West Winner: Raiders Matigy has had a hold over this division since he has joined. I do not see this changing, but the Chargers can have a chance if they tighten up.
AFC East Winner: Dolphins Not much really needs to be said here. The best team in the division right now by far and the best user at the moment. That is a hard combination to beat.
Wild Card Teams: Ravens, Jaguars, Chargers These guys I think can definitely make the playoffs. The Jaguars and Ravens are pretty much locks to me, but the Chargers may shock people. I think HD can make a run to lock down a wild card spot. He is going to have to win those AFC conference games, but it will be a battle between Colts, Jets, and Chargers. I just think Chargers may have the easier schedule to get to the Wild Card.
