Overreactions & Reality Checks for PML

The Browns will be under new ownership before the end of the season
Reality or Overreaction: Reality
Some are calling Miles the biggest bust in PML history. Some are even saying he is amongst the worst users in PML history. Did we expect this type of play from a new user? H-e double-hockey-sticks no! When a user makes it to the show, meaning they earned control of a team in the worlds greatest CFM, at this point of the game, especially if you’re replacing a PML vet like Vet, no pun intended, we expect big things from the user. We had to see the writing on the wall when your very own Pittsburgh Steelers captured their first victory in like forever against them early in the season. Miles came into the league with a head of fire, he even knew more about the league than some of the users that have been here for a while. I was blown away with his PML knowledge when he did a week 1 prediction show appearance and he hadn’t even played a game yet. Well fast forward to week 13, the Browns sit at 0-13, there is no content, chat, or league involvement. The Browns just played as CPU week 12 vs the Broncos, as it was rumored the user was playing Call of Duty instead of his PML game (rumored). I mean, you cant blame the man after getting waxed by the Giants the prior week 87-3. I dont think we have seen such a lopsided score in league history. The Browns threw 0 touchdowns and 9 interceptions against a Giants team who finished with 22 passing yards and somehow scored 87 points. Are you fregin kidding me here? Giants threw 5 passes in each half, and scored 87 points. The Browns boast a -306 point differential, over 100 more than the next worst user. I’ve seen enough, and I always have a soft spot for fellow losers, but when you don’t bring anything else to the league that’s where I draw the line. I anticipate a new Browns user sooner than later. Get a new guy in there, give him the rest of the season to learn his team and get them ready for season 4 and 5.

The AFC West will produce the most exciting playoff race come week 18
Reality or Overreaction: Reality
I don’t mean most exciting in terms of on the field football, I mean most exciting meaning we have a 3 team, potentially 4 team race heading into the final stretch of the season. It seems no team is able to pull ahead of the next as the top 3 teams all sit a game apart from each other. Each week I feel we have a different team on top. The Raiders have dropped 3 in a row after sitting in the drivers seat for a bit. The Broncos now hold sole possession of first by a game and will come out of their BYE week with a week 14 showdown against the Raiders. The Chargers who had the most generous schedule of all and I once considered them the favorite based on that, have dropped 2 straight during their ‘light schedule’ stretch (Cle, NE, Car, Pit). Many thought they would go 4-0 on those games the way they were playing this season, but 3 games into that stretch they dropped games to NE and CAR which but a huge blow into their playoff chances and has them on the outside looking in under .500. My prediction? I will stand with the Raiders as their final 3 weeks of the season are KC, ATL, and CLE. If they can come out and take down the Broncos week 14, it should give them the momentum they need to secure the division. But boy would I love to see all 4 teams within a couple of games of each other heading into the final 3 weeks of the season.

The Bengals are Super Bowl favorites
Reality or Overreaction: Overreaction
The Bengals do have the best record in PML right now I believe, but there is a lot of football left to be played. Their division rival, the Ravens, is on their tail for the AFC North title. The Houston Texans only have about one loss so they are right on the Bengals’ tail as well. The AFC could go anyway right now while we have about four teams with two losses or less. We all know Cammy loves to air the ball out with those Joe Burrow velocity abilities and Jamarr Chase (broken player) and a juiced up Joe Mixon. The question is can someone make him drive down the field and limit those plays? Can he lock down a great offense come playoff time? Only time will tell, but the AFC is too tight to say the Bengals are an outright favorite at the moment.

Micah Parsons is the most broken player in PML right now
Reality or Overreaction: Reality
I clicked on one stream when the Cowboys were playing the Saints. It was around the last 3 minutes of the game. I literally saw Micah Parsons shed every single time the Saints dropped back to pass. Micah has 90+ speed and edge threat. He is a nightmare on a contain or just a simple pass rush because he will animate into a shed. Worst of all, we gave this player to Jefe who is a defensive mastermind. When will we learn to stop giving these great users broken players? Parsons has d*** near over 14 sacks on the season and we are not even in Week 14 yet!

Browns are the worst overall user I’ve seen: Reality
I don’t want to be mean to Miles, I’m sure he’s a cool guy. The gameplay is pretty bad for the Browns, still winless and coming off of an 84 point loss, but we’ve seen bad users before, we’ve had winless users before. I haven’t seen anyone admit that they could play but are just playing a different game. I think that combined with his gameplay and inactiveness will result in a new Browns user next season if not sooner. I think in the future PML will look further in to new additions that are being recommended by current users, especially if they are real life friends.

The Dolphins will not win the AFC East: Overraction
The Dolphins are coming off of a loss to the division rival Jets, which puts the Jets within a half of a game of the division lead. It seems like the Dolphins are sleepwalking through this season, causing some to ask whether their wins are based on team talent or coach talent. The Dolphins remaining schedule is no walk in the park, but neither is the Jets’. The Jets will still need to make up a game for them to take the lead in the division, but I do not see that happening. While the division certainly is not locked up by the Dolphins by any means, I would still have them as the odds-on favorites to be representing their division in the AFC playoffs.

JT is desperate for anybody to take over the Browns
Reality or Overreaction: Reality
We all know Jt and the amount of work that has gone into this league to make Pml what it is. He’s turned this league into the best by far and has fully fulfilled his plan for Pml that he had years back. He does not like to be played with and I know he really doesn’t appreciate when people don’t take advantage of the opportunity given. Miles’ 11 week run as the Browns user has been a disaster and if i’m being honest this might be the worst addition the league has ever had. Miles has basically shown that he has no use for this league as he’s not active, does no content and isn’t even making it a priority to play his games in a 72 hour window. I feel like It was already done with him but the final straw was when he missed out on a scheduled time to play Cod or whatever it is. When you feel like you can play with the league like that, this league has no use for you. This is so bad that I can see JT giving any carousel member an opportunity regardless of the skill level, nothing can be worse than miles. JT carefully evaluates each member before joining PML but at this time anything might work.
The Steelers might be filed along with the Browns this offseason
Reality or Overreaction: Reality
I love Arod as we joined pml around the same time but his time in this league might be up. Over the years the competition in this league has continued to grow steadily while it seems he’s peaked. I love his attitude towards the league, the content he provides and the different types of gambling he provides as we would truly miss it if he leaves. I just feel like the league has passed him by to a point where he won’t be able to escape where he’s at in pml. There’s just no hope, after going 0 – 17 he’s followed that up with a 1-10 start with a win over the coach that hasn’t won a game and is on his way out. He makes good trades at times and can build a team but the play on the field is just not what we’re looking for. Over the last few weeks it seems like he’s lost hope as well so it’s looking like doomsday in the steel city. I’m sorry arod as you added me to this content group but I have to speak the truth but I hope they keep you around.
