What were the keys to the team’s victory this week?
We just tried to keep the game simple. Our defense has been excellent at stopping the run, and forcing opposing QBs into making tough throws. Offensively Malik has done a fantastic job of keeping the offense on the field, and getting points out of every possession. Also no INTs over the last 2 weeks, next we just have to focus on holding onto the ball.
Can you summarize what it was like playing against the Patriots last week?
The Pats were a really tough game last week, Caleb did a great job of keeping his team in the game up until the very last moments. If it wasn't for our D/ST stepping up big time we lose that game.
Can you talk about the development of Kool-Ade McKinstry so far?
Kool-Ade just keeps producing, recently in place of injured S Amani Hooker. What seemed like a huge loss has turned into a surprising bright spot with Kool Ade showing out all over the field.
The team now has back to back wins, what could you attribute the recent success too?
I think just an overall better team play and coaching. We were in a rough spot early in this season, and vet leadership really took it upon themselves to rally the troops. Back to back wins has really turned around the team morale. We have to keep building off this into the bye week and then a very tough game vs the Jags
Can you talk about what it’s like to prepare to go against a player like Chase Claypool?
Chase Claypool is a dynamic player, and especially tough because of his athleticism at the TE position. There is a reason he is TLaw #1 target, and a leading receiver in PML
How has Robert Woods’s experience in the league helped the team so far?
Bobby has taken a step back in terms of on field production, but has embraced the role as mentor to these young receivers . The recent breakouts in JSN and Wilson can be directly attributed to the veteran leadership Woods brings.
What is the status of Amani Hooker and when is he set to return?
Hooker is still on IR, and we hope he can return for the end of the season. We feel comfortable in not rushing him back due to the emergence of Kool-Ade stepping in at S.
What makes Keaton Mitchell so good?
Mitchell is a pure athlete. We really had to emphasize to not let him get into the open field because he will take it to the house every time. I feel our DL and Lbs did an excellent job in containing him this week.
Can you describe how important it was to get a win at home this week?
We really needed this win not only for our team, but for our fanbase. Weve struggled at home this year and these fans deserve better. Im happy we can give them their moneys worth this week
How do you see the competition level in the AFC South currently?
Best division in PML, we need to step up and compete within this division.
What are your thoughts about the Jets just in general as a team?
Great overall team Fallen has built over there, and Fallen is a proven championship caliber coach in PML. This is a playoff team fighting for a spot, and we are very pleased with how we handled our business this week.
