Here’s another PML Playoffs update as we wrap the first 24 hours of Week 17 action.
Game 1 – Ravens (12-4) defeat Cowboys (9-7)
- CHI clinches at least a wild card spot. CHI has H2H tiebreak over DAL if they tie at 10-7. CHI will either be the 3, 4, or 7 seed
- WAS is locked into the 6th seed in the NFC
- GB nows control their destiny for at least the 7th seed if they win out. GB will own conference tiebreak over DAL if they tie at 9-7 or 10-6
- ATL is still alive
- BAL loss W18 + JAX loss W18 means JAX 5 seed Ravens 6 seed. JAX owns H2H over BAL. Any other result W18 and BAL is 5 seed
Game 2 – Giants (15-1) defeat Commanders (10-6)
- WAS loss means 2nd place finisher in the NFC West will be the 5 seed
- NYG win clinches 1 seed and means 1st place in the NFC West will be the 2 seed
Game 3 – Dolphins (8-8) defeat Patriots (5-11)
- MIA wins the AFC East as the 4 seed with W18 win OR a MIA W18 loss AND a NYJ W18 loss
4 games are left on the slate, and 3 of them have playoff implications!
GB vs TB – Potentially affects GB, TB, CHI, ATL, and DAL
ATL vs LV – Potentially affects GB, DAL, ATL, LV, IND, and LAC
ARI vs LAR – Affects LAR and SEA
And then you have the Lions and Vikings as Jameson Williams is one step closer from being deleted from planet earth
