88 Normal HB Leonard Fournette: Commanders: 1 year, 2.5M Salary, 2.5M Bonus: A+ great signing for a very reasonable price and just an upgraded version of Brian Robinson. Wouldn’t be surprised if Fournette gets the backup role, though
85 Star WR Diontae Johnson: Bears: 3 years, 25.2M Salary, 14.7M Bonus: B if you have the money spend it and the Bears have a lot of money. Diontae isn’t really good in madden but he isn’t terrible and can play the slot well if he needs to.
84 Star RE Yannick Ngakoue: Vikings: 2 years, 17.2M Salary, 11.4M Bonus: C- 14M a year for an 84 overall defensive end sounds reasonable but Yannick has less than 70 block shed and only 80 strength, he is a weak spot that can easily be taken advantage of.
82 Normal SS Vonn Bell: Steelers: 1 year, 3.1M Salary, 2M Bonus: C 1 year contract is fine and it isn’t bad but with 86 speed he doesn’t have much practical use this late in the cycle.
82 Star WR Juju Smith-Schuster: Eagles: 2 years, 7.6M Salary, 2M Bonus: B+ while I don’t know how much Juju can actually help with just 87 speed and no particular strength, that contract is very strong in value when you look at other receiver contracts.
79 Normal HB Ronald Jones II: Broncos: 3 years, 5.7M Salary, 3.6M Bonus: A- very cheap contract for a high quality backup running back who isn’t too small or too slow to fill any role.
79 Normal K Cairo Santos: Steelers: 1 year, 1.5M Salary, 700k Bonus: A++ I love Cairo Santos he is the goat and this is a steal he should have costed 20M a year.
79 Normal WR Allen Lazard: Bengals: 2 years, 6.8M Salary, 3.2M Bonus: A I can’t believe he didn’t have a market, I personally have too crowded of a WR room already but a 6’5 WR who has 90 speed and is an excellent run blocker would cost more you would think. Great steal and depth piece for the Bengals already loaded at the position.
76 Normal WR Devante Parker: Panthers: 1 year, 900k Salary, 0 Bonus: A+ lowball of the century. Minimum contract for a tall receiver with the mentor tag who has like 95 jump. Can hopefully teach Marvin Harrison Jr some things.
76 Normal CB William Jackson III: Broncos: 1 year, 1.8M Salary, 800k Bonus: B+ solid contract for a solid depth corner who isn’t bad at anything, 1 year deal was the obvious move.
75 Normal P Paxton Brooks: Steelers: 1 year, 1M Salary, 200k Bonus: A- cheap contract for a good punter only goes down to an A- as a way of telling Arod that punters are people too and deserve more respect than lowball offers (I’m paying my punter 410k this season)
75 Normal DT Jay Tufele: Bills: 1 year, 2.2M Salary, 1.8M Bonus: B fine contract for a very good backup DT who isn’t slow or weak and can play in a 4-3 or 3-4. I wish this was at least a 2 year deal honestly.
75 Normal P Jordan Stout: Patriots: 1 year, 1M Salary, 300k Bonus: A 84 speed punter for a cheap contract is a good way to handle special teams. Less of a lowball than you’d think.
75 Star TE Gerald Everett: Texans: 1 year, 1M Salary, 1M Bonus: B+ very cheap contract for a quality veteran tight end. The corner route jump ball man is back in Houston.
75 Normal FB CJ Ham: Vikings: 1 year, 1.8M Salary, 500k Bonus: C- I love fullbacks and Ham is one of the best and in real life, Minnesota fans love him, but the Vikings have glaring holes, this is not part of a solution.
75 Normal FS Adrian Phillips: Panthers: 1 year, 900k Salary, 0 Bonus: B+ JT is the king of the lowball I guess. Another mentor player with the minimum of minimums. No bonus is cruel.
74 Normal LT George Fant: Steelers: 1 year, 3.7M Salary, 1.7M Bonus: D+ backups are important but this old fart has 84 strength, is costing more than 5M in his 1 year, and won’t stop Myles Garrett or Oweh or Ojabo or the Bengals front so what is the point.
77 Normal FB Monte Pottebaum: Seahawks: 3 years, 4.5M Salary, 1.5M Bonus: A now this is a fullback! and a good contract too for a guy who will help Kenneth Walker keep dominating on the ground.
74 Normal CB Tre Brown: Texans: 1 year, 900k Bonus, 500k Salary: B+ great cheap contract for a great backup nickel corner. He can contribute in dime sets as well as long as he isn’t on the outside
74 Normal RT Tyre Phillips: Giants: 1 year, 2.1M Salary, 0 Bonus: A- The Giants give a solid contract to a very solid and capable plug and play backup. A spare ‘Tyre’ if you will for the Giants offensive line. A+ for me for that wordplay
73 Normal CB Michael Davis: Lions: 1 year, 1.8M Salary, 500k Bonus: A relatively cheap contract for a tall corner who isn’t slow and can play in the slot or outside. Good depth piece.
72 Normal RT Spencer Brown: Patriots: 1 year, 1.5M Salary, 1M Bonus: A he’s a monster at 6’8 and 92 strength. Did I mention he is also very athletic for an offensive lineman. An excellent pickup who will make defenders scared if he ever gets to step on the field.
66 Normal QB Marcus Mariota: Patriots: 1 year, 1.8M Salary, 1.3M Bonus: B+ fast capable backup quarterback with the mentor tag and a relatively fine contract. Only knock is Caleb has already progressed so far this might no really be moving the needle for his XP.
58 Normal QB Blake Bortles: Steelers: 1 year, 1.9M Salary, 700k Bonus: C+ mentor for whoever the Steelers draft should help a lot but Blake Bortles is a funny signing and weird seeing him get a PML contract
63 Normal HB Tevin Coleman: Panthers: 1 year, 900k Salary, 0 Bonus: C the lowball king strikes again with a mentor joining the Panthers deep running back room. Feels a bit unnecessary though.
56 Normal HB Kenjon Barner: Panthers: 1 year, 900k Salary, 0 Bonus: F see above and he only has 87 speed to really sell how bad he is.
67 Normal WR Tyrell Williams: Panthers: 1 year, 900k Salary, 0 Bonus: B- JT might just be taking out his frustration of not being able to bid on these poor mentors but Williams is 6’4 and 88 speed isn’t that terrible so this is a much better signing than the running backs.
63 Normal TE Tyler Kroft: Panthers: 1 year, 900k Salary, 0 Bonus: C purely there to be a mentor like all these other guys, the Panthers have a ton of tight ends already, though.
60 Normal TE Mycole Pruitt: Panthers: 1 year, 900k Salary, 0 Bonus: F The Panthers are really taking advantage of unlimited negotiations and lowballing. This guy won’t see the field in preseason and he won’t even make the roster.
72 Normal RG Alex Leatherwood: Patriots: 1 year, 1.7M Salary, 700k Bonus: B+ another high quality backup offensive lineman for the Patriots as they continue to build depth to protect Caleb
71 Normal RG Brandon Kipper: Seahawks: 1 year, 900k Salary, 400k Bonus: B a very solid backup on a very nice lowball deal. Just give him the two years at this point though at 24 years old.
63 Normal RG Khadere Kounta: Lions: 1 year, 800k Salary, 0 Bonus: F a new low of a contract as the Lions go even lower than the Panthers. He has 96 strength which is cool but a 63 overall isn’t gonna protect just because of that.
71 Normal P Ryan Stonehouse: Chiefs: 1 year, 1M Salary, 100k Bonus: A- great cheap contract for a quality punter but why not give him the second year so you don’t have to worry about giving this exact same contract in a year.
75 Normal CB Benjamin St-Juste: Colts: 4 years, 7.2M Salary, 3.2M Bonus: C- the contract is fine but he is worse than 3 corners already on the roster and slower so the needle doesn’t get moved.
72 Normal FS Marco Wilson: Colts: 3 years, 4.5M Salary, 1.5M Bonus: A- 6’0 tall and 93 speed is a great backup and the contract is great but they already had 5 safeties under contract.
67 Normal CB Jaylin Williams: Colts: 1 year, 1M Salary, 200k Bonus: B a pretty neutral depth signing as he isn’t tall or short, he isn’t fast or slow and will just be a body to be on the team for preseason and then gone most likely.
