Top 5 Drafters (Before DDT)

Here are the 5 teams I feel like had the best draft BEFORE DDT comes out. You never know who is going to get development traits, but by overall we can guess who made some good picks.

 5. Niners

The Niners filled some key pieces and landing two corners who are Day 1 starters. A 79 OVR CB in Domani Jackson and a 77 OVR CB in Garrett Williams. The future is bright for this cornerback duo in San Francisco. They also landed solid players at other positions that were above 74 OVR.

4. Browns

The main reason Cleveland made this list is because of Travis Hunter. He is the highest rated rookie in this class coming in at an 84 OVR. He is already a top 20 CB in PML by rating. This alone skyrocketed the Browns on this list. Landing a generational talent speaks volumes. They made some other decent picks, but this obviously outweighs everything.

3. Dolphins

Once again, the Dolphins had a tremendous draft. A great team got even richer landing some high rated players in great positions. They landed a 79 OVR DT in Gunner Givens and a 75 OVR End in Jasheen Davis. This is a scary sight for a team that has already made two conference championship appearances.

2. Cardinals

The Cardinals landed the best player BY FAR in the draft in rookie MLB Harold Perkins. This guy is faster than some DBs coming in at 92 speed and his attributes get even crazier. He has 86 Hit Power, 88 Tackle, 77 Play Recognition, and 76 Zone Coverage. This guy could literally move to safety if he wanted to. That is how versatile and broken this player is. Arizona also landed great players in other positions.

1. Chiefs

Believe it or not, the Chiefs had the best draft by far. A team that traded probably the most untradeable player in Madden, Patrick Mahomes. Kansas City landed 83 OVR DT Walter Nolen, a 77 OVR Safety in Sonny Styles, and a 75 OVR CB in Daylen Everett. These guys had an amazing draft. The Chiefs have a lot of weaknesses in their defense and clearly addressed those this draft.
