How has DeMarcus Lawrence’s experience in the league helped the team so far?
He brings more depth to our already deep defensive line. We wanted someone who can effect both the run and pass and he is stout in both. We also had money to blow and only so much time to spend it, especially since no one top tier wants to sign with us.
Did you scout BYE before the draft? If so, what stood out about him?
We really didn't do any pre draft scouting, and you can probably tell that based on who we picked. We picked based on athletic ability, fast wr, and a gianr RB. Other positions can not make a giant difference in two seasons.
How do you see the competition level in the NFC North currently?
I think all 3 teams have room to bounce back, but the schedule is still tough. We match up with the NFC east, and we know how strong of a division they are.
