Over your career, what makes a team better at not turning the ball over as the season goes along? What kind of things you need to emphasize? How much of it is coaching? How much of it is a mental part? Physical part?
Turnovers definitely cost us down the stretch. With multiple interceptions in the Giants conference championship game. With a very tough schedule, it is imperative that we take better care of the ball and don't throw ourselves out of games.
Some would say your roster is one of the better teams in the league. Would you agree with that? Do you see any weaknesses in your team as you self-scout?
With teams like the Giants, Ravens and Dolphins already sculpted, it's an honor to be mentioned in the upper echelon of teams. However, we still have a lot of work to do so I don't want that kind of praise before we touch the field.
The majority of your team is under the age of 26. Is that a conscious effort to have such a young team?
Season 1 we started out as a rebuilding team. Not much was expected from us with such a young roster, but we managed to go 13-4. With that being said, we subsequently progressed as the last two season went on, adding talent while still growing in the areas in which we had young guys. Heading into season 4, I believe we are finally ready to put our talent together. With a deep secondary, and talent all over the offensive side of the field, I believe things are looking up in Seattle. It's imperative that we get off to a good start with a hellacious schedule.
