Can you talk about the development of Mason Garcia so far?
We really like what we see from Mason so far. You know a lot was put on him coming. Developing a brand new system just for him with a short time to learn the playbook. He relied on his athleticism to keep some bad plays alive. As a coaching staff we need to continue to bring him along at a good pace. But so far Mason is exactly what we want him to be.
How has Tom Brady’s experience in the league helped the team so far?
Brady has been invaluable for Mason and for the rest of the team. When you have a champion like that in the building is just bring a higher level of preparation and focus. Tom has done a great job a working with Mason to get him ready for game days.
Can you describe how important it was to get a win at home this week?
Week 1 at home! You always want to start of the year with a win and get the positive energy going through the locker room , but to do it at home on opening day infront of the fans makes it all the more special.
I want to ask you about the receiver position in general. How have you seen that position evolve in importance over the years and how does having a player like WR CeeDee Lamb sort of factor into that perspective?
Our receivers are going to be extremely important this year. With having a young quarterback they are going to need to step up and help him out. And that starts with CeeDee he is a great leader for that group , he's been a consistent presence for the team since day 1 and I expect that to continue.
