Bears run the North
Reality or Overreaction: Overreaction
The Chicago Bears got the better of the Packers in their week 1 matchup. The game was pretty even besides the Packers throwing INTs to end their long drives and Bears made minimal mistakes to take the W. But the Packers should be looking at having a better season with some added defense and reps on offense without Arod, also with a 2nd place schedule they should be able to find a few more wins than the bears. Bears v packers will happen again in week 18 which could be a very big game and will be interesting to see how each team has evolved since their week 1 matchup.

The Mahomes trade didn’t move the needle for either team
Reality or Overreaction: Reality
This probably is the biggest trade to happen in pml this cycle and yet it’s pretty irrelevant. Jets got blown out by the chargers week 1 with Mahomes and the chiefs got manhandled in Las Vegas, Keaton put up a whopping 15 attempts for 27 yards and a fumble. While Mahomes threw the ball 41 times for a 59qbr and 4 INTs, so both players essentially were a net negative for their team. Overall both teams look to be on the same level as last year also and nothing has changed schematically. And I think this just has been a trend also over the course of the cycle, these shiny new players don’t fix teams and the reasons why they were missing out of the playoffs. They really only enhance your ability to be consistent and well consistency for these 2 teams is losing and they will continue to.

The Buffalo Bills will be back in the playoffs
Reality or Overreaction: Reality
Last year was certainly disappointing for a team like the Bills, who have one of the top QBs in the league and made the playoffs both of the first two seasons. They started season 4 against one of the top teams from last season, and defeated the Bengals. Ii expect Tbandit to be locked in every game this season and to be contending fot the AFC East division crown. If I were to pick and AFC east winner right now I would pick the Buffalo Bills

The Bucs will win the NFC South Yet again
Reality
The Buccaneers had an impressive week one win, defeating the in division Panthers to start the year 1-0. The other NFC south division game is more telling in my opinion. I would say that Greeny is the biggest threat to take over the division from Tampa, but a bad loss to the Saints in week one really hurts their chances and my confidence in them. The only way I see Tampa not winning the division is if their first place schedule really eats them up to where the other teams are able to keep it close and maybe pull off the upset.
