Under Achievers

  1. Greeny / Falcons- A top 5 pick, and two 8-9 finishes places Greeny as the biggest under achiever to me so far this cycle. The Falcons were a rebuilt to start but the team is probably top 10 easily in the league currently and missing the playoffs is unacceptable at this point.
  2. Ceo / Vikings- A playoff perennial last cycle with the cowboys has gone through more qbs then losses he’s used to. The team out the gate is solid besides qb. Jettas has never gotten the shine he should have and that alone deserves a spot on this list.
  3. Bubba / titans- Malik, and king Henry with bubba at the helm ? That seemed like stats, cheese, and winsgalore but it hasn’t worked out that way. Malik has had ball security issues all cycle and King Henry was shipped for the oft suspended 99 speed Quez Watkins. The team was not stacked by any means but seemed like a perfect fit for Bubba who should be competing more.
  4. Jefe/ cowboys- The cowboys were one of the best teams at launch, Jefe was a top 10/12 coach at launch. This should have been a recipe for multiple deep post season runs. Travel and life prevented him early from playing all his games and that’s probably the biggest reason he lands on this list, but his insistence on running a tight end out at qb is a huge reason his team has been limited. Because it was self inflicted, he lands on this list.
  5. Bandit / bills- Spot 5 was a tough one but bandit lands here specifically because of how good he usually is and how good the bills roster was. Bandit with Josh Allen was a scary thought to begin the cycle and although he doesn’t have as many losses as some, this isn’t the cycle he wanted. Most would have anticipated multiple deep playoff runs, possible sb berths.

1. Tbruh: I love me some tbrother, but d*** has he been disappointing. I heard since entering the league that he’s one of the best passers, so having Josh Allen,Diggs, and getting XF Knox sounded like an AFC championship appearance at least. We have yet to see tbrother live up the hype and he’s already missing key pieces like Tre white and Hyde from season 1. Hopefully he can get him one before the end of the cycle.

2. Jefe: after making a run with the packers year 1 of last cycle, I think a lot of people expected similar success with a really good cowboys squad. It’s yet to happen and I’m not sure how likely it is to happen with the commanders and giants creating god squads while the Cowboys get worse.

3. CEO: for me there’s not a lot to be said that hasn’t been said already. He knows he’s been disappointing, I know he’s been disappointing, and all of PML knows he’s been disappointing. Doesn’t seem like the tide is going to change with the Bryce young for Cade rumors. The first step towards change is acceptance… he cannot accept he is washed and that QBs aren’t the issue.

4. HD: I know many might have not had high expectations for HD, but he was given the #1 ranked CFM team and had a pretty weak division (JAC who allegedly doesn’t want to play and 2 brand new users to PML who were handicapped). Luckily it seems like he’s picking up in season 4 and I hope to see a playoff appearance from him.

5. Kingmike: Might come to a surprise from some, but he’s held to a high standard. He got given THE best defense in the game and a top 3 QB in the game with gunslinger Rodgers. He got eliminated first game of the playoffs year 1, championship game year 2, and then a first round exit year 3. I know a lot others haven’t even achieved a playoff berth, so how is a championship game a disappointment… just feel like baldy should have a bowl appearance or not have got bounced in the first playoff game TWICE.
