Can you talk about what it’s like to prepare to go against a player like George Kittle?
I mean it’s a tough ask. He’s arguably the best TE in the league and can do everything from blocking to routing up your best defender. We know this Saints offense moves through Kittle and the run game, so we’ll have our hands full this week trying to contain Kittle.
How has Xavien Howard’s experience in the league helped the team so far?
Having Howard on the team has been amazing for the development of guys like Keion Crossen and Noah Igbinoghene. He brings the ultimate veteran leadership as he goes from being put on an island against the best WR to locking down the slot. This may be the last season he sees the field so we expect him to go out with a bang.
What is the status of Robert Hunt and when is he set to return?
Robert Hunt is out for 4 weeks with a knee cartilage tear. This seems to be a phantom injury around the league. With Connor Williams and John Campbell returning to the lineup this week, we thought we would have finally be healthy and have our entire starting oline back. Unfortunately, Williams return was spoiled with the Robert Hunt injury and John Campbell getting injured in practice when he was scheduled to return. We’ll see how the line ups against that front 7.
