Did you scout Jacurri Brown before the draft? If so, what stood out about him?
Honestly we didn't scout him, as we knew that we wouldn't be taking him as he wouldn't make it to the second round. He looked like an average quarterback throwing wise, however, he was extremely fast. We knew that he wouldn't come out with abilities, however, he was a good project quarterback to build on. It was strange seeing the Bucs take him as he was pretty much the same as DTR.
How do you see the competition level in the NFC South currently?
The NFC South has some of the best built teams in the league. The Falcons and Panthers started off with some bad records, but have improved tremendously. The Bucs have stayed consistent throughout the entire cycle, where we have just been getting worse since season 1. Season 2 we took the wrong quarterback and it has been biting us ever since. We tried changing that in last years season, however, the trade committer wasn't having it. We will look to this years draft to make a change at the quarterback position.
Is quarterback a priority for this team in the upcoming draft?
Yes it is, 100 %. We haven't been able to see the quarterbacks in the draft yet, however, a change is need. Rumors have it that the Bryce Young connection to Minnesota still is a thing and both teams have talked about a potential trade this off season.
